I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Ozkyamak Falez Hotel in Antalya, and I must say that my stay fell far short of the expectations one would have for a 5-star establishment. From the moment I arrived, I was met with subpar service, lackluster amenities, and an overall disappointing stay.
First and foremost, the service at Ozkyamak Falez Hotel was nothing short of disappointing. The reception staff exhibited a level of slowness and rudeness that is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. It seemed as though they were not invested in providing a pleasant experience for guests.
The room I was assigned to was a far cry from 5-star standards. The bathrooms were cramped and lacked windows, creating a sense of discomfort. The bedroom itself was not much better, with stained sheets, a barely functional fridge, and an uncomfortable mattress that resembled sleeping on a metal slab. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit occasionally leaked, which is certainly not what one would expect from a premium establishment.
The hotel's claim of being "all-inclusive" was a mere facade. The food provided was mediocre at best, with repetitive and uninspiring options such as plain salads and boiled dishes. A 5-star hotel should offer a variety of gourmet experiences, but Ozkyamak Falez Hotel failed to deliver in this aspect.
One of the most glaring letdowns was the state of the swimming pool area, which had a moldy section that was a far cry from the pristine conditions expected of a 5-star establishment. This lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance was disheartening.
Even though the hotel's exterior presented a grand appearance and it boasted a convenient beachside location, these factors were not enough to redeem the overall disappointing experience. I would be remiss not to mention the inappropriate room assignment for three people, with two single beds and a poorly constructed pull-out metal bed that was uncomfortable beyond words.
In conclusion, my stay at Ozkyamak Falez Hotel was a disappointment in almost every aspect. Despite its grand facade and proximity to the beach, the service, room quality, and overall experience were far from what one would expect from a 5-star establishment. I would caution anyone considering a stay here to thoroughly research and explore alternative options that offer a true 5-star experience without the numerous letdowns that marred my visit. This hotel may be suitable for a beach-focused stay, but for those seeking a genuine luxury vacation, Ozkyamak Falez Hotel falls far short of the mark. A generous rating of 3 to 3.5 stars is all I can muster, and even that may be...
Read moreI stayed here two weeks ago and it was all together very disappointing. Unfortunately for me I only read the very negative reviews of this hotel too late and my tour operator would not let me cancel without paying in full!... The food is really bad in the restaurants and the seats are all broken, absolutely not 4/5 star. Advising this hotel has multi-lingual staff is a joke, staff didn't understand me when I asked for the simplest of things like a Fanta or beach towel. Room service came everyday, took away towels but never replaced them and the towels they did provide where of shocking quality, It would have been better to dry myself with a napkin from the restaurant.
The website description advises in room wifi- this is a lie, the Wifi is only available in reception/lobby and is so slow it may as well have been powered by a Hamster. I stayed here for business and It was impossible to do any work while here taking about 3 hours to send 20 emails having a detrimental effect on my workload! The hotel guide in the rooms also states they have an internet cafe and when I checked at reception they do not!
This hotel is mainly full of Chinese and Russian and Eastern European guests who are all very rude. The guy who works in the spa is a pest constantly asking me to take a Turkish bath, trying to get me to come and take a look and wouldn't take no for an answer. When the rooms and the pool area is so filthy you would absolutely not get me anywhere near the spa. The pool loungers where covered in bird poo and cat paw prints (there are loads of stray cats wandering around.)
The pool entertainment is just some guy who hooked up his phone to the speaker system, so every time he got a message or a phone call the music went off and was more often than not a repeat playlist of Frank Sinatra!!!! Not 4/5 star entertainment.
Adding to my horrendous week, on 19.06.2019 I woke up to no electricity in my room, when heading down to breakfast there was a sign by the lift that advised between 8am-8pm the hotel would be without air con or electricity - this was not rectified until after 10pm that evening meaning I practically got reverted back to the stone age in 40 degree heat. DO NOT - I repeat, do not make my mistake and stay here because it is cheap. It is cheap...

Not a single employee can speak English
The night-time receptionist is the rudest
A/C in our room doesn't work. Asked at reception if someone could look into this and the answer was Sorry, no English
The hotel directory mentions 24-hour room service, but the kitchen closes at 830 p.m., so there is no room service.
Just went to the reception as i was trying to order Domino's and wanted her help with the order as their website needed the exact address and phone number for delivery, and the receptionist got upset at me.
The night-time receptionist is the rudest.
They promote their beach as 5 minutes. The beach is a 20-25 minute walk from outside the hotel on the main road and public beach. At Their section of the beach, they don't have an entrance. We had to go around through the public section. The beach bar, which they advertised only had coke sprite, fanta, and water
The bathroom was not clean. This morning, i took a shower before we left at 6:30 am. When we came back at 8 p.m., the bathroom was not cleaned, and I was not even touched. The towel and shower mat were where I left them. Empty bottles of shampoo, conditioner & soap were as I had left them. The tub sink & floors weren't clean. Even the garbage bin was still full.
The only thing done was my bed was made, but that also you could see the untidyness the shape of my head could be seen on the pillow as it was not fluffed. The curtains were not drawn, Oh, yes, my bedroom garbage bin was changed.
The phone in the room doesn't work Can't dial out, not even to the reception.
The food choices at the buffet. Forget it We went out to eat. Even though the hotel is all-inclusive,
I needed local currency, so I went to the reception to find out. The girl just walked off, and we were waiting at the reception. Finally, after a while, when we started calling for help ,a bell boy came out and said, "No English."
No wonder this place is a ghost town.
Who has given this hotel 5 Star status It is just a 2 star motel
The best part is that the outside view is great.
