The most uncomfortable night of my life. I couldn’t get a wink of sleep for several reasons. First, the bed was uncomfortable, and you could feel all the springs digging into you. Then, the air conditioning would turn off every hour, and you had to get up to turn it back on. But the worst part was that it felt like you were inside the other guests’ room — you could hear everything, not just clearly, but as if you were right there with them. The toilet tank would sound every time someone went to the bathroom, like it was coming through a loudspeaker. On top of this terrible night experience, the hotel itself is super shabby, and there’s nothing around it, so they thought it was a good idea to set outrageous prices in the café, since you don’t really have any other option. Read moreI couldn’t sleep because the hotel staff were walking in the hallway near my room at night, talking very loudly and shouting to each other without any consideration that guests were sleeping! The room had no basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, or toothpaste). There was also a strong, unpleasant smell from some kind of air freshener. The pillows looked as if someone had been lying on them before, and I even found someone else’s hair on the bed.
Also, there wasn’t a single hook in the bathroom for towels. Where are guests supposed to hang their towels after a shower or washing their face?
There was absolutely no soundproofing — I could hear everything from all sides. I booked this hotel for one night just to get some rest between flights, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to...
Read moreHighly recommend! Had 1 night stay after a delayed flight at Sabiha Airport. Close to airport. Both receptionists on morning shift and evening shift were super helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. Charged our phones when we didn’t have adapters for plugs. We got the airport transfer for 5:30am and it came early and was a very luxurious ride to the airport, well worth the €5 each. In terms of the bedroom, newly renovated and sparkling clean. Small bedroom but large double bed, fridge, wardrobe, A/C and desk provided. Toilet was super clean and awesome shower. Lots of local mini markets and kebab and shawarma shops in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again if going through Istanbul Sabiha...
