After reading the reviews on this page I was expecting big things. |We are an English couple, we came with no children. We were told we were 2 of the total 4 English people in the hotel. A lot of the entertainment is in German. We didn’t find this a problem really but I had not read this on reviews prior to going. |The “resort” is relatively small, the rooms are basic. They were cleaned daily and no major complaints. The balcony “sea view” was not great - You just stare at another hotels balconies, if you lean over and turn head can see the sea lol. There are no rooms that view the pool. |The pool & pool bar were all kept very clean. Toilets monitored and cleaned constantly throughout the day. The music is on consistently from 10am blasting, lovely atmosphere. Never struggled to get a sun bed. They do provide a towel service, which we did use one day but got ripped towels and decided to use our own. |The lunch time table service restaurant was a nice extra to break up the buffet. The Al le carte restaurants are a struggle to book, and you can only access one within 7 days. Have to book these at guest relations only 1 day in advance between 9-12am. |The buffet- hmmmm it just was not good. Not sure if that’s because it was more catered towards other nationalities. We often struggled to find things to eat, ate a lot of bread with the meals to fill up. We are not fussy eaters. |Drinks - the beer is nice, though maybe watered down because does not seem to get you merry. The wine was ok if mixed with lemonade, I’m not very good with spirits tho! Also could not purchase better branded spirits, only had local on offer which seemed a bit rubbish. |The beach was lovely, with added water sports if you wanted. ||Evening entertainment was on nightly. Children’s at 20.30 which seemed late. And evening entertainment at 21.30. We attended two nights and the dance show was brilliant. Minimal chairs and tables on an evening, have to get there early to get a spot. ||Staff do not speak English very well at all so when trying to discuss my partners wallet being lost from the room the man on reception had no idea what we were saying and just repeatedly asked us to pay the room service bill with a bank card. We only had Apple Pay because no wallet! |(This was at checkout at 4.40am with a taxi waiting, we managed to do a bank transfer eventually and left)||Overall we did have a nice stay. The hotel itself is quite basic with the rooms, size of the hotel space and layout. There is no “good rooms” as they all look directly at other hotels or in towards each other. But how much time do you spend in the room really? From the pool, down to the additional restaurants, beach etc it was all very clean and maintained well. The staff although didn’t speak English, most of them were friendly enough. We enjoyed the table service lunch & found the snack bar to be better than the main restaurant buffet. ||We both suffered with a little “turkey stomach”. Not sure if that was related to food, alcohol, local water iced etc. or a mixture! ||I wouldn’t say this hotel was a 5 star. But given the space the hotel has- it utilizes it well. ||Also the transfer from airport was further than i thought. Took around 50minutes in a private taxi costing 85 euros for both ways! They collected us almost 4 hours prior to our flight on the way home- I thought very excessive for an early flight. But when I got to the airport I realised why- bedlam! Very very very busy airport...
Read moreIt was the worst experience I’ve ever had on a vacation.
From the very beginning, it was a total failure. We arrived at the hotel with a slight delay (around 4:30 PM) because our checked luggage was delivered late by Antalya airport. Obviously, being hungry, we asked at reception where we could eat. They told us that all the restaurants were closed and that we could only have dinner starting from 6:30 PM. Alternatively, they suggested we go to the pastry shop, where we could find a snack until dinner.
But the real “fun” only started after four days. We began to feel our noses getting blocked and started coughing. We discovered that the air conditioning system hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Considering that we had unpleasant experiences in the past caused by dirty air conditioning full of bacteria and germs, we asked the "guest assistance office" for help. There, a gentleman promised me the issue would be fixed that very day and that someone would come to clean the system. Nobody ever showed up. And so, the whole family caught a cold.
Well... on the fifth day, in the morning, my daughter woke up with a terrible headache and a fever. We gave her the usual treatment (Nurofen, Paracetamol), thinking it was just sunstroke. But we wanted a doctor to check her. To our surprise, the hotel doctor was nowhere to be found, and the nurse was more like a decorative figure. In the meantime, the vomiting and diarrhea started. Today, after we arrived back home, my daughter was seen by her doctor, who concluded that she had developed gastroenteritis, most likely caused by the pool water or the food.
And let’s not forget the cherry on top. Yesterday afternoon, we returned the beach towels in order to get our cards back. There, a very frustrated “lady” asked me something in Turkish. Obviously, not knowing the language, I asked her if she spoke English. At that moment, visibly upset and sarcastic, she told me: *“English? Go home, go home… Bye Bye.” Is this the typical hospitality in your hotels?
On top of all that:
Dirty curtains and a dirty armchair in the room Extremely weak Wi-Fi Evening shows dedicated exclusively to Russian guests Zero imported beer (even though we paid for an ultra all-inclusive package) Stray cats freely wandering around the restaurants A broken balcony door Many noisy and drunk Russian guests No showers around the pool area
Later edit, for the hotel owner:
I didn't blame you for the late delivery of our luggage. I was complaining that I didn't have the possibility to eat something, even if I had to pay for this. The patisserie was not a suitable option, because I can't eat sweet.
You didn't clean the air conditioning system. I looked at it, on our last day of vacation. Please do not distort the truth, just to make it seem like you have done something.
If the medical and spa staff are external, you should end the contract with them. They are useless.
Regarding the hygiene standards, I don't know who checked you but I can say that your swimming pool is not chlorinated, so it's not clean enough.
Where are the showers near the pool.? I only saw the showers near the seaside.
Why should I report the balcony door, when even the first problem with the air conditioning hasn’t been solved? I solved the problem myself, because it was quite clear that you...
Read moreAydinbey Famous Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a 5-star hotel in Belek. From the moment you arrive, you can sense the luxury and attention to detail that sets it apart.|The all-inclusive package is definitely worth it. You don’t have to worry about anything, as meals, drinks, and most activities are included, making it a hassle-free experience for both families and couples.|Given the quality of the facilities, the range of services, and the all-inclusive offering, the resort is reasonably priced. It offers great value for those looking to enjoy a luxurious stay without breaking the bank.||The staff at Aydinbey Famous Resort is one of its biggest strengths. The hotel is fully staffed, and the team is always available and ready to assist with anything you need. Their attentiveness ensures that you never feel like you’re waiting too long for service, whether it’s at the restaurant, the poolside bar, or housekeeping.||The hotel’s location is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s just a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach, making it perfect for those who love spending time by the sea. However, there isn’t much else in the immediate area, so if you’re looking to explore local shops or restaurants outside the resort, you might be disappointed. It’s ideal if you plan to stay within the resort for most of your trip.||Breakfast is great, lunch and dinner are so-so|The food here has its highs and lows. Breakfast is a definite highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh options to start the day. However, lunch and dinner can feel repetitive after a few days. While there are some standout dishes, a bit more variety would make the dining experience better. That said, the all-inclusive drinks and desserts do help make up for it.||Entertainment is 10/10|If there’s one reason to return to Aydinbey Famous Resort, it’s for the entertainment. Aytaç, the entertainment manager, is a star—extremely personable and friendly, he engages with guests in a way that makes everyone feel welcome. He takes the time to get to know you and ensures there’s a wide range of programs every night, from live music and karaoke to dance performances and acrobatics from across the world. The rest of the entertainment team—Recep, Furkan, Asyah, and Gözde—are equally fantastic. They truly go above and beyond to connect with guests, including the kids, making sure everyone has a great time. The daily activities are varied and fun, from water gym, water polo, archery, and darts to kids club and disco. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about creating a fun and memorable experience for all guests.||If I come again, it will be because of the entertainment|While there are areas that could use improvement, the entertainment team makes up for it in a big way. Their energy, passion, and effort make the entire experience so much more enjoyable. If I decide to return to Aydinbey Famous Resort, it will definitely be because of the amazing entertainment provided by Aytaç...
