The most amazing resort experience I have ever had. I have travelled the world, hang out with people of any status. I have been blessed to visits and experience the most wonderful locations worldwide. Even been in Jennifer Lopez home in LA. But I do believe, the St Regis Hotel in Sadiyat Island is the best hotel experience I have ever had. And I explain why. They are always available at the phone, very kind . They are always available to book anything you want. I booked a superior room with breakfast for my girlfriend birthday . When you book this package, In the hotel the water is free all day every where. In the adult pool, ice creams and fruit is also free all day . The breakfast in Olea is amazing . Many options of food. Especially the outdoor part is amazing, with the view and the birds. Seems to be in a movie. Basically with the room and the breakfast you still have many other benefits. Best value for money ever. You park the car, and you are treated like a king. I went there for my girlfriend birthday. The resort is beautiful. the view of the sea is amazing. Actually it is a marine natural reserve. The water of the sea is so clear. It seems the Maldives. The resort is beautiful. The room are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are all very polite, kind, professional. When I went to my room, they left roses petal on the bed with a cake for my girlfriend celebrations (free of charge) . They made the experience truly special. We spent the day on the beach and the service was 10/10 . Phenomenal. You can eat and drink anywhere you go in the resort. We spent the time in the adult pool which is gorgeous. Very relaxing. Beautiful people, everyone is respectful. Great vibe overall. I want to deeply thank “ Francis “ the waiter at the adult pool to make this day truly special and all the other staff in the adult pool too. Which they surprised my girlfriend with a cake , and signing happy birthday. A truly magical and unforgettable experience. Thank you Francis !! All the equipment in the pool is clean, new . The food is fantastic every where , both in the pool or in the restaurants . We went to Buddah bar restaurant on the beach . The view was phenomenal and the food & vibe too. I must say the staff in all the hotel are such nice people - they really make the experience special . Everyone is smiling , and very kind . Honestly the most amazing resort experience I have ever had . I enjoyed so much , that I decided to become member of the hotel so that I can go more often . Thank you deeply St Regis - that was a phenomenal experience. The best value for money ever !!

This hotel is perfection from the minute you arrive. Our second Christmas stay and delivered on all counts. It perfectly mixes the balance between family holidays and those seeking a quiet adult only retreat. The main pool area is a vast area of infinity pools. The private adult pool is a stunning and a peaceful haven with numerous private cabanas at no extra cost. The hotel itself is a majestic building with a stunning white sand beach and crystal clear open ocean setting. You can walk for miles along the beach. You will struggle to find a better buffet restaurant for breakfast or dinner anywhere in the world. The choice is vast and international. The Christmas Eve Gala Dinner and Christmas Day Lunch are exceptional. Hungry during the day ?The poolside Malfi Bar menu is excellent and your choices delivered to your sunbed either poolside or on the beach. There are a further four restaurants to choose from. The Buddha Bar on the beach is amazing. The formal Manhattan Bar in the main building is perfect if you wish to dress up and feel special. Proper mixologists, stunning décor and art. You really could be at the St Regis in New York. My son used the gym daily and said it was excellent. Staff sublime. Faultless from the minute we arrived. A vast army of staff. Simply incredible and too many to name that stood out. The pool staff instinctively remember which sunbeds you like and they are there prepped and ready awaiting your arrival any time you like. They even have a chap that comes round and cleans your sunglasses ! Seriously ! Ice buckets full of cold water and special treats by the staff every day. They make you feel very special. The concierge service and the warm smiles when you arrive and for your entire stay are very welcome. The restaurant staff are all so friendly and attentive. I have no idea how they can be so upbeat and positive day in, day out. We were there for ten days and faultless. Please remember to tip the staff personally from time to time. They deserve it. Its the right thing to do. The rooms, linen, décor, showers world class and a vast choice from standard to all manor of different suites. There are many things to see and do in Abu Dhabi if you wish to venture out, or if you simply wish to rest and recharge then this resort delivers in every respect. We will be back. Best Ian K

The St Regis is a delight! The hotel is excellent, quiet luxury - that's what it's all about! A very green and cozy area, despite its size - the hotel is very large, almost 400 rooms. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and looks like an Italian palazzo. The rooms are comfortable, the bath is gorgeous, the bed is very comfortable. The butler service is very convenient and cool: they will wake you up, bring you coffee, iron your things, organize an event, etc... Special thanks to butler Ksenia - she surrounded me with care and attention and organized a surprise for her birthday. The service in the hotel is excellent - everything is already provided for you, there is nothing to complain about. Lots of Russian speaking staff. An excellent pool for adults - there are gazebos with fans, cool water in the pool, a lot of shade and greenery, they wipe glasses, bring fruit and ice cream, bring water in an ice bucket and constantly refresh it. Opposite is a lawn on which gazelles run. As for the food at the buffet, this is the level of a good restaurant. There is everything or almost everything) the breakfasts are great: eggs in all sorts of varieties, lots of pastries, a vegan table, good coffee and a lot of fruit. For dinner there are always fish and meat dishes, lots of desserts, salads and appetizers, and lots of seafood. I would especially like to mention the Athletic Club. It has a huge gym, a full-size swimming pool, sauna, hammam, squash and tennis court. We played tennis in the mornings and evenings. The manager Santan is a very cool guy and a good person. In addition to rackets and balls, he brought cold mint towels to the court, and generally surrounded us with care and attention. There is a refrigerated room on the court where you can relax, there is a refrigerator and a toilet. It was my birthday and the Athletic Club surprised me right on the court - it was unforgettable! Santan arrived with a cake, candles, a congratulatory letter and balloons! It was so unexpected and very pleasant! St Regiss is love at first sight and forever! If you want to pamper yourself, then come here!

  1. Front desk / Checkin: Poor performance, upfront email with preferences just totally ignored (asked for quiet room on high floor, even within category and full occupancy should be able to manage for Bonvoy Platinum guest), got lowest floor possible with worst direction towards construction site….finally complained and changed room to fourth floor backyard….again, not complaining here about not receiving a Platinum upgrade, never expecting this….but taking care for individual preferences should be expected service level in St Regis. Generally Front Desk lady (not mentioning names here) extremely unfriendly…making several times a statement that we did booking via agency (I get it, that you do not like, I would always book direct with Marriott for same conditions, but they did not allow me with room occupancy of two adults + 2 kids)
  2. Rooms: Quite ok, nice layout, feel a bit small as out of 60 square meter room roughly half is bathroom. Bathroom very nice in timeless white marble and smart layout. Rest of room feels a bit outdated, but everything smartly thought through, missing some details, like tablet/mobile charging stations…but seriously can not complain on room, just not feeling a wow effect like you would do elsewhere in UAE.
  3. Beds / Sleep quality: Very good, extremely comfortable for my personal preferences. Rather soft mattresses
  4. Butler Service: Hello Butler, where have you been during our 7 night stay? Visited many St Regis in UAE and across the world, this was the poorest experience ever. Was proactively finding out WhatsApp Nr myself and tried to find out potential cut off time for the complimentary morning coffee - the answer was a very cryptic “we do only serve complimentary coffee during check in date and with wake up call”….was asking several times what that should mean….could not solve this. Maybe my bad of not properly understanding English language, but how complicated can it be.
  5. Breakfast: Very good, extremely big and many options. Not as good as a Jumeirah or Atlantis breakfast so. Made to order egg quality ridiculously poor. You feel a bit the mass tourist challenges of bigger resorts
  6. Buffet dinner: If at all mediocre. The claim to have some daily changing Themes, but except from changing red curry to green curry the other day feels as everyday serving the same. Some Grill theme and Italian theme gives a bit change, but not really. Quality also rather mediocre. Nothing compared to the level we experienced at Ritz Carlton last week in Oman. The other tiny detail adding up to the overall impression: Water, tea and coffee is part of half board package, but if you order „sparkling“ water they charge you (30 AED, and no, it is not imported Perrier, it is plain local sparkling water worth 1$ in local super market)…come on.
  7. Facilities: Athletics club / gym a bit outdated but quite good. Free tennis courts and squash courts. Indoor pool. Can not complain at all.
  8. Pool: Does not feel top notch….pools rather slim lines with very low water level. Extremely good for small kids, not so good to swim. Much better pool areas in UAE.

In summary: Is it a good hotel, definitely yes. Can you book it, definitely yes. But, it is massively overpriced, could easily be branded as Marriott or Le Meridien, Still occupancy seems quite high, so obviously Mr free market making the price. In my view you pay for the location, definitely best beach in all UAE. If you do not use the beach everyday, save your money and go rather for St Regis Abu Dhabi. You will get the more exclusive St...

The St Regis Saadiyat is one of our best hotels we have stayed at - and this is me saying this for the 3rd time. Our only regret is we didn't stay long enough (was a short stay for 2 nights).  If you want a breath taking luxury experience then you definitely have to stay at this hotel. All the staff here are like our family and they treat us like we are coming home. No request is ever turned down, be it a dietary requirement or something for your kids. Its an honor to be part of the St Regis Saadiyat family and to always be remembered Even though every staff plays a part in making this hotel one of the best, i've highlighted those that stood out to us. I hope management can reward and appreciate the great level of service that they provided ||Aftab - our experience started way before we even checked in. Prior to our stay i emailed him letting him know we are coming to stay and he completely went out of his way to ensure our stay would be memorable as the first and second. Even though he was on holiday on our check in he made sure everything was sorted for us (this shows how much the st regis family go out of their way). A great level of service to those are not even guests yet. Literally like our older brother.||Lalit - our personal head chef at the restaurant. Him and his team (below) Made us the most amazing custom dishes for our vegetarian diet. Masala chip naan, maru bhujyas, chilli paneer wraps, chilli paneer and fresh naan. Literally he waits on hand for our food requests and always does with a smile. Its not a surprise that he heads the chefs.||Khalila, ôm, Prakash, Hassan, Ali, Roshan , Brijesh - No head chef team is complete without the chefs beneath. These all made sure that we got the best dishes that we requested to Lalit.||Brandon - was really helpful in contacting our next hotel partner in Dubai to ensure that stay would be memorable as the one we experience at St Regis. Always willing to go beyond to help in anyway.  ||Waseem - the restaurant manager remembered us from our last stay and gave the greeting. "Welcome Home, this is your home and let us know how we can help". He really runs the whole restaurant impeccably. Always asking us is everything okay with our stay. ||Fariz, Sai and Narayan - made sure our room was cleaned twice a day and left it spotless. Usually the cleaning staff go unnoticed so wanted to give them a special mention that their service definitely doesn't go unnoticed. ||Sujan (chef) - made us the best avocado on toast with feta. We had it literally every morning and he always made it the same. ||Omprakash (chef) - made us a great chilli cheese naan to go with our chilli paneer.  ||Amir, Sameh and Oshen (Adult pool bar staff) gave us really good service and were always willing to ask if we needed anything. Made us some amazing treats. ||Abdul Raman (Waiter) - it was a delight that he remembered us from our last stay and was always helping to clean our table||Sarita, Abrar and Ulbika (butler team) - ensured that no request in regards to our room was turned down. Anything that we wanted they were always willing to provide. ||It is with great sadness that we don't when our next stay will be at the St Regis Saadiyat but i hope it is in the near future. We will definitely be back for our...

Stayed at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi. The place is a disaster. Not even close to St Regis class and standard. 1. We waited 90minutes at check in for our room even though we called in advanced and confirmed our room would be ready by 3PM, we were in the room 4:30PM. 2. Wanted to get coffee while waiting but had hard time to find a clean lounge area to sit. All the carpets are full of stains in the lobby area. Curtains are shrunk. It’s a mess! 3. We were offered a late lunch at the “buffet”which was wilted salad and leftovers. We didn’t even bother eating. 4. Finally we were upgraded to a suite and even that didn’t do it. When we arrived to the room, the bathroom still had * hair and urinary on the floor. Immediately called for cleaning services and had to use public restroom until it was cleaned properly. 5. People were complaining left and right by the pool. Everybody was asking for the manager. We waited 1hr and 15min for a panini, the couple next to us waited for a calamari appetizer for 45min. This is ridiculous! 6. Our first night we ordered room service. The sesame seeds spilled on the carpet stayed there during our whole stay. I took photos. And informed the management at the check out. Every morning I had to stare at them when I was doing my morning stretches. 7. While we were asleep, 10PM tuck in service walked into the room after one knock, we had to jump out of bed to stop them. 8. The steps on the adult pool were very slippery, multiple people had issues. Major liability if someone falls and hurts themselves. Which is highly possible in the very near future. My husband almost twisted his back. Lifeguards are aware of it but no one takes action to fix the issue. 9. At the peak breakfast hour the construction workers were dismantling Ramadan decorations and raised platform right in front of the guests. Loud noise, cables everywhere, construction debris, tons of plastic bottles thrown on the side by workers. 10. During our breakfast, table next door complained they were under direct sun. Our waiter literally took our umbrella and moved it to their side and tried to cover our table with another umbrella. But this time we were exposed. When I warned the staff the manager came in and apologized. What kind of hospitality culture openly values one customer more than the other. 11. This is the most expensive hotel after Rixos at this location and I can’t imagine why. Honestly I want my money back. This is at best a 3-4star hotel quality, max $300-400/night range. Ridiculous! Management has to do something about this hotel. These fees are not fair for this service. This operation is falling apart. Either they should lower the rates or fix the hotel asap. The service doesn’t match the price point.12. This hotel literally ruined my admiration towards the brand. Such a failure. 13. We still wait for someone from the hotel group to contact us to resolve our issue and a fair...
