Walton View Hotel — Hotel in Bradford

Where do I start with the amazing venue and jaw dropping building / grounds. We booked Walton view October 2024 where we met Reece the wedding coordinator who booked us all in and then explained how the wedding would work.

We had several meetings with Reece who put mine and my partners wedding anxiety at ease as he would sort anything he could out and allow us to plan our day how we wanted.

The day of our wedding Reece and the Walton view staff were professional, respectful and overall just loved their job meaning they put 100% in our wedding which didn’t go unnoticed by use or our guest!

Reece couldn’t do more for us on our special day and great coordinating the day allow our guest to know what was going on and making our wedding the party vibe which is what we wanted. Also kept me and my partner hydrated with beer and Prosecco at every moment he could. Reece thank you for your help and you really are a credit to Walton View.

The food for our wedding breakfast was out of this world with a great selection of foods no matter how fussy your guests maybe! The food was on time, hot and displayed in a professional manner.

Our wedding photos were made with the amazing build of Walton view and the grounds which we wouldn’t of got anywhere else.

Now our honeymoon suite, this was incredible which included a water fall shower, sauna and a large Jacuzzi bath which was nice to cure a hangover in the morning. The bed was a super king memory foam which was extremely comfy. To finish the room had a balcony which looked over the Walton view grounds which was a nice touch to wake up to. We had a look in the double and delux rooms of our guest and they didn’t disappoint either as theses were all modern and great rooms which I would of been impressed with as a guest.

We booked breakfast with all our guest who stayed the night which was located in the rustic room (back room). This was a full English buffet including tea, coffee, cereal and fruit juices. This was fantastic and was nice to sit with all my family and friends the morning after.

Attended a wedding on Sunday 9th of Feb. First and foremost we have to give a massive shout out to Mariam who served table 7. She was fantastic; from her professionalism to her personality, she made the day a lot easier for us with a poorly child. She was always smiling and made sure we were all comfortable. So a big thank you to Mariam.

The venue aesthetics were lovely and had a good vibe. The canapés and starters were really tasty. I’m sure in the summer it would be even better with the outdoor space available. The staff were very polite and friendly and there did seem to be a big team of people making sure everything ran smoothly which was reassuring.

A few negative points which did make the day quite difficult for us as parents; there are no separate quiet rooms available if you have little children that need feeding/putting to sleep. This was especially hard for us as our baby is tube fed which takes a lot of time, so we didn’t have the privacy that most other venues do provide. We did ask and was pointed to use the prayer room, however this was not possible as guests needed to use the room to pray. There was also no heating in the prayer room and it was extremely cold. This was also the case in the lobby area; it was just too cold, which meant no guests were really able to sit and enjoy the space. A smaller little niggle were the automated taps in the men’s bathroom; the sensor is too far away from where you would normally place your hands under the water, which meant you had to place one hand in front of the sensor to keep the tap running whilst washing your other hand which isn’t ideal. Alhamdulillah, we picked Walton View for my sister’s nikkah ceremony and baraat on 10th June 2023. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Nur and his team went above and beyond for us in every respect. He arranged so many surprises on the day of: a surprise photo-booth, personal gifts from the team and that’s just to name a few. They even accommodated to our last min changes the night before without hesitation or question. Rather than customers, we were treated as if we were family.

Hidden away from the bustling city, the countryside venue itself screams elegance. The grounds are absolutely stunning - ample space to have photoshoots for family and couples. Oh and if your feet ever get tired of strolling around the grounds, they’ll be ready with their golf carts to whisk you away.

My family and I are so glad we made the right choice and you should too. I’m in no way shape or form paid or sponsored or related to the lads but just honestly speaking/raving about them. Every single guest complimented the beautiful venue, delicious catering and amazing service and if that’s not enough to choose them for your special day then I don’t know what is. Honestly, don’t think twice about upgrading your package either as they put their love and heart into every amenity they offer. The attention to detail is second to none.
