As per usual very good. Bar service is not always as good as it could be as staff are around tables (which is obviously the point), but it means the bar is neglected for those sitting in the front area (see photo). Even just as the Beefeater opens, managers seem to be too busy to ensure staff are efficiently helping customers at the bar, I waited 4 mins, plus serving time for a coffee (about 6-7mins), and just as long for a Pepsi refill. But most often I was served immediately. Having said all that, I wouldn't want to put a negative impact on this place, the food is usually good and the lunch-time deals are particularly good value, for example £5 for the lasagne. There is a large menu and some great options for Vegetarians and those intolerant to Gluten (Ceoliacs). Although, I wouldn't advise Vegetarians sitting near the front kitchen if they don't like the smell of beef. It is called a Beefeater after all 😉 The décor is modern with a touch of traditional, and the wall hangings are certainly beef orientated! 🐄 Most areas are well lit, and staff are happy to sit you where you want, when the restaurant isn't too busy. It's never going to be Michelin star, but you don't go to a Beefeater expecting that. As far as I'm concerned it's well cooked and good value for money. Kitchen staff moving between the main (back)and front kitchen (the one you see) could be a bit more subtle, and should be asking bar staff for jugs of lemonade/pepsi as it looks odd to have a food-covered cook standing pouring a drink... Usually a positive experience overall. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s been a few years since my last visit to a Beefeater and I was pleasantly surprised with the Ware establishment in Hertfordshire. A nicely decorated and well maintained restaurant and bar with plenty of seating. Excellent service from all staff, friendly, patient and professional at all times. The food was delicious especially the double cheeseburger with streaky bacon. I have a habit of removing the salad bits from my burger as I found that it adds nothing to the flavour, but the tomatoes I pulled out tasted meaty with a smoked flavour from the grill. The burger itself was amazing, double amazing as it was a double! Two juicy patties fused together with melted cheese, topped with streaky bacon and served in a sesame seed bun which, by the way was perfect and lovely to see in this brioche bun era! The beef was juicy and really well seasoned with a lovely texture to bite through and again those grilled flavours coming through. Churos Sundae wasn’t a good as expected and with that my only other negative comment would be the price point here. If compared to the nearest rival, Harvester, who have improved leaps and bounds over the years, and have a similar menu but a marked difference in price. Nevertheless, I will be going back again (very) soon!

Nice pub, food is ok at a push, and staff are great. The cleaning of each area is a bit rough and I had food from the previous people around my feet. The service is fairly quick although the standard of food itself isn't amazing although I guess you get what you pay for. This is attached to a premier inn and so easy if your staying in the hotel. The extras are pushed on you and I ordered extra chilli that I wouldn't order again. There are a lot of tvs in here which kinda does away with why people go out and is very American, I go out with my family to catch up with them not what's on TV, but they seem to be on every wall. Overall I would eat here again as there isn't loads nearby, but if there was a half decent restaurant near I would opt for that option.

Meals were OK, but a little cold, I would class my Gammon steak as barely making average. The setting was ok and the staff were attentive, but that was really it. !! Update.Monday lunch time. Extremely busy today, with staff rushed off their feet, our patience was being stretched with waiting, there is a lunchtime menu of 2 courses for a tenner ish . Good value !!?Had the gammon which was ok , chips weren't special. For starters I had chicken wings, which were a bit fatty. An OK meal , and the portions, were of good size. When you see the number of patrons, it indicates that people like the experiance. I personally wouldn't make this a regular venue .if your standards aren't very high, you will probably enjoy your visit, and if you are in no hurry!!

We stopped at Beefeater, Ware for dinner returning from visiting Much Hadham ... 3 stars only as we waited quite a long time to be attended at entrance and again to be seated after being attended... I ordered the Tbone steak... As seen on photo... Not great, the skinny fries really cooked, not really enjoyable, one mushroom and half tomato which looked more lost on the plate than part of menu... At least my son enjoyed his burger, as he ordered his own... Being served wrong drink and at the end paid for it also.... Personally I am not returning there, and wouldn't recommend... The above is my own experience and personal opinion...
