Staying at Bowfell Cottage was one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, Anne welcomed us with such warmth that it instantly made us feel completely at ease and cared for. Anne made us feel at home as soon as we walked through the door. What a great host and genuinely lovely lady. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom and the rest of the house. Breakfast was lovely. Really just felt as though we were staying with a family member. 25 min walk into bowness and the cottage was lovely. It would be a delight to come back and stay again. It is a joy to stay here! Anne is always warm and welcoming. The room we had was lovely and warm with very comfy beds. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Only a short drive into Bowness. Very reasonable rates and very dog friendly. Speaking for myself, my son and his dog - we love it here and look forward to many more visits....
