Spent a couple of days here. Delightful cottage, which is much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. It's at the foot of the old man of coniston, which was ideal as that's what we were there to walk up. Could do with some sprucing up in places with a lick of paint but will definitely...

Good location. Cottage is tired and dated. The plumbing makes a huge amount of noise. Toilets have the most awful flush on them it barely takes the paper in some of the bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. A small amount of tea and coffee for the first night would of been...
