Route 66 Diner — Restaurant in Wales

I ordered an Adult Hotdog meal which consisted of a large hotdog in a bun with boiled onions, sauce and a side of fries. I also ordered an Oregon Wrap Meal which consisted of chicken, thin slices of steak, cheese, mushrooms and onions with a drink and a side of chips.

Looking at some of the items on the menu I was surprised to see some really interesting and, what I would consider, a little unique for the area, which is why I decided to go with the Oregon Wrap Meal, so I was looking forward to something a little different.

The young lady who served me was polite and dealt with all my requests as if nothing was too much.

As for the food, it was all very sub-par. The wrap had a decent amount of cheese on, however, there was not much chicken. The steak slices were extremely chewy which ruined the whole wrap.

The hotdog had a funny taste to it and my partner, unfortunately, took one bite and had to spit it into the bin.

The chips were just typical fries, so there's not that can be said about them and we finished both portions.

I feel the issue with the food came from it not being made to order. The hotdog was in a hotdog warmer and appeared to be really dark when we got back to our caravan, Happy Days which is about 3-4 minutes away. I seen the mushrooms and onions were in bain maries and the meat was warmed up, as it was pre-cooked, on a grill. The 2 meals was made, packed and on my way in about 5 mins which shows that nothing was made to order.

Sorry to be negative towards your establishment and the images of the burgers do look delicious, however, I can only review you based on my experience, which was less than average to put...

Food very greesy young children working there one who was not much older than 10 who was fantastic and was carrying 24 crates of pop then there was a young girl who was around 13 . We ordered our food Yeah kebab and chips the food arrived but with no chips so we mentioned that we ordered chips the girl looked at us and put her hands at the side of her head and said I don't know what you want me to do so I kindly said leave then kebabs with us and bring the chips the girl then just looked at us and walked of with the food 2 minutes later a gentleman arrived at our table not sure if its the owner or manger he was very angry and started shouting at my partner saying she is a young girl don't have a go at her we tried to explain what happened but as we was taking he then just...

Was definitely enticed by the large board advertising ice cream. Unfortunately, when I asked what flavours were on offer, I was told they only sell one flavour and one type of ice cream. The ice cream van parked next to the kiosk had a lot more to choose from. The 2 members of staff were nice enough, even though they didn't seem too happy to be there.
