I came with my two grown up autistic/dyslexic sons today to the pub , my two sons went the bar to order breakfast . They started to explain what they wanted and short haired lady with the blonde and glasses was extremely rude to him and told him to hurry up because he was trying to process the grid number menu and her rudeness, he was confused by the not neurodiverse friendly menu , she told my daughter whose a nurse , we’ve had this menu for seven years without a problem . Her attitude to my autistic son made him start to shake to a meltdown when we got back outside to the car . I feel she needs to go on a customer care course to learn about to deal with people with special needs . We left without any food prompt. This will make my sons never go to order food again , as people with autism have problems with socialisation this is a big set back...

I visited this place for the carvery, food was plentiful and good for the money. The service was absolutely shocking, as soon as they started to close up the carvery all that the staff appeared to be bothered with is getting out as soon as possible. I was sat waiting for our plates to be cleared and the desserts order to be taken, the staff where cleaning empty tables and setting up for the day after whilst we waited just to clear our table and to simply order desserts. The only communication we had about desserts was when my daughter said she wanted a particular dessert and the member of staff turned to us and said that they where out of this particular product and carried on cleaning the empty table behind us. Most places would say I'm sorry we have sold out but we could recommend...

I called in the magpie and stump on Sunday 3rd june it was 11.50pm as I approached the bar there was a lady coming away from the bar with drinks she had just been served. I requested a pint of John Smith's only to be informed I was to late the bar shut at 10.30pm. I informed the barman I just drove 90 odd miles to be with my family who were in caravan on the site.
