We come here alot while visiting family. Have always had great service from staff. The rooms are super clean along with the bathroom, and if you need anything, there are very helpful staff members around. When we were last at the inn back in July, they had started having their own breakfasts. The room was fairly small but fine. It was self-service, which was great and plenty of nice cooked food. This time round 3mths later, Oct, it had changed. No.more self-service (continental breakfast was still self-service) it was now breakfast ordered at the table. I'm not sure what happened, but it was not very nice at all. Food wasn't cooked properly and cold. Didn't say anything as we were also having breakfast the next morning, so we decided to wait as it may just have been a bad morning! Anyway, next morning, what a difference. You ordered again, what you wanted and how many of the items you wanted, the food came out, and it was lovely. Hubby, well pleased with full English, and i was happy with mine as well.. Put the 1st day down...
Read moreOne night stay mid week. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. There are issues with damp and black mould in this hotel however. First room at back of hotel had black mould on window wall. Reported to reception and was quickly moved to another room at front of hotel. Same thing in the new room, black mould on window exterior wall. Then moved to a 3rd room at front of hotel which seemed newly refurbished and was fine. ||Receptionist was apologetic and said that the building is not owned by premier inn and so they are unable to do the work required to remedy the damp and mould issues and that the cleaners have been instructed to wipe it off if they see it. She also said they paint over it. ||It’s a shame because it is otherwise a great place to stay in a good convenient location. If it wasn’t for the damp and mould I would definitely...
Read moreExtensive business traveller... Monday to Friday customer based.Always choose this particular Premier Inn. If North of of Glasgow. Commuting from Clydebank(6 mile away) specifically here. Always sleep well aka Premier inns. But it's the Burnbrae restaurant that draws me. Excellent good quality home cooked bar food, that shames many food chains or upmarket hotels, and friendly accommodating staff. The pub/restaurant is welcoming and accommodating even on a busy steak night. Kellie, who served us , even when alterations made to a set menu, could not have helped more. Not usherd or rushed from table once cutlery rested, which was a welcoming change compared to most corporate restaurants allowed to relax and talk to friends/colleagues. Have and will continue to book here(8years) for business and pleasure if...
