We ordered an extra hot latte, an Americano and hot milk and chose a tuna and cheese panini. The very young guy who was making the drinks did not have a clue.The first latte served in a glass only had coffee halfway up then the rest was foam so we pointed this out.He threw this away and made another which still had too much foam we which we accepted as everything else had been lying ready. The panini was barely cooked and was soggy.The Americano was fine but small for the the price. The bill was £11.10 and not worth it. We felt the young guy looked as though he was hating every minute of his job and he needed help and training.No excuse for the soggy panini. This is a fairly spacious Costa unit within Tesco, Milngavie. Good food and great coffee as standard including the world's best caramel shortcake. What makes this a Go-To for me is the staff here. Heard of a paper base menus displayed at the serving hatch Costa? Do you really need to pump carbon in the air using these multiple electronic devices? Surely your menu doesn't change prices in real-time due the world price of coffee and grain?
