We booked a stay here the night before going to Brands Hatch for the British Touring Cars. Upon arrival we were greeted by a polite, pleasant receptionist who checked us in and answered a couple of questions. I booked a family room, which consisted of a large double bed (King possibly) and a single bed, for my Son and I. The room cost £77, which is thought was a great price for a Saturday night near London. The room itself was very clean and tidy, the beds were clean as too was the bathroom. Inside the room is a TV, tea/coffee making equipment, hairdryer and also free Wi-Fi. There was air-conditioning in the room but it didn't seem to cool the room down very well nor could you feel the fan due to its location in the room or the fan speed setting set by the hotel (energy saving). We didn't realise that there was a bar inside the restaurant to have drinks on the evening. We used the vending machines in reception to buy soft drinks and went back to our room. The beds were comfy and had a decent nights sleep. We paid for breakfast (£11.99) which kids eat free. The breakfast at the time was ok for me but my son found the pancakes a little dry for his liking. There was plenty of choices ranging from cereals, cooked, bakery selections with tea, coffee and juices. I did find the orange juice very weak as though it had been watered down. Checking out was straightforward just put your key card in a box. There was parking at the Hotel, about £7 for the night. You have to get ticket from the reception desk to scan and pay at the machines outside.

First time staying at a Premier Inn Hotel. Booked a family room. Here’s my take on this location. The good: Cheap price as it’s a no frills hotel. Rooms are generally clean. Large car park. Coffee/Tea and kettle available in room. Have soap and body wash in bathroom. Mirrored light is a good feature. Window on first floor can be opened for fresh air. Good quick access from motorway. The bad: No fridge and iron in room. Parking is charged at £7 for 24hrs (not £5 as some others have written). No shower cubicle, only a bathtub with a in built fixed shower head with a shower curtain. Feels very claustrophobic. No handheld or adjustable shower head which is needed with kids especially in the family room. Wadrobe space is tiny. Weird smell in corridors. And the ugly: The toilet is dirty. There is filth on the toilet seat hinges which was disgusting. The seat itself is much smaller than the rim of the toilet bowl so there is a big gap between the seat and the bowl. Very difficult for little kids to sit on the seat. The seat itself was full of cleaning stains.

Booked here as had free parking when booked but now cost 5 pounds, also had the meal deal is not worth the money and also don't tell you what as a surcharge to say this one as the most expensive meal deal and the food is not the best had mix grill and small meal and my wife had a curry with a stale poppadom, then did not come back to clear table and by time they did we could not have our desert as they close the kitchen and also did not get the kids eat for a pound. All in all pay a little more for somewhere better. Also some of the staff not very helpful. Ps also cable hanging off TV with a young kid

Out of the way hotel with a grotty look on arrival. This hotel is predominantly used by tradespeople and will have many vans parked outside daily. It's only really suited to get your head down. As it's on a major junction you will need a car etc to travel to any shops or facilities. On site restaurant is only fair and will consist of tradespeople drinking as many pints they can do before the bar shuts. Plenty outside drinking too and smoking cannabis. Check in was quick and had pleasant staff on the desk. £7 a day for parking which you pay on check out. Not quite sure why you have to pay for the parking. Many vehicles get broken into or stolen too nightly. There are signs warning about this around the car park. As expected from what we have seen with most Premier Inns, the room was superficially clean. Good shower and comfortable bed. WiFi very poor. We stayed in room 28 which had a constant smell of damp throughout our stay. Condensation on the window every morning. Unusual sight in July. Fan in bathroom was just a sound. Didn't clear any condensation. Room terribly humid. Window did open but room was only cool if breeze was blowing in the right direction. Air conditioning unit not built in. An added unit on the wall that was useless. Smelt terrible and you would blow more than what was coming out of it. More dust than anything. Didn't bother using it. The room was also extremely dark due to 20 foot trees outside the window. Surfaces looked clean but I wiped down the tea/coffee tray and the wipe was yellow with the dirt that came off it. Quite dusty too. I suspect like most Premier Inns there is no one to spot check the work of the housekeeping or if there is they are just as bad as the cleaners. Tiny bins in room not much use for a family room with 4 people staying 4 nights. Free view TV with no sound on HD channels and other channels missing. Old fashioned HD TV on the wall. Seen this most other Premier Inns too. As like all Premier Inns now you have to ask at reception to have your room serviced/cleaned as regular room service was never reinstated post Covid. In summary not at all suitable for a family stay. Unhealthy feel to the room. Crap TV. Crap WiFi. Expensive parking. Typical mediocre Premier Inn hospitality and only suitable for tradespeople getting their heads down after work. Unfortunately we would not stay in this establishment again. We actually said we were surprised it was not being used to house the boat people coming across...

The room itself is clean and tidy but unable to leave curtains open as windows are mainly covered in bird excrement. The restaurant is good for breakfast but not for evening meals as there is very limited availability from the menu (starters only 3 out of 7 choices available, some mains were not available, others had parts of the dish missing and dessert choices were limited to 3 out of 5 ) the reason given was due to supply issues. To a certain point this may be acceptable but when when you are offered a limited choice from what is supposed to be a thyme restaurant and order something just to eat, the food would arrive not to restaurant standards. The first night of our 2 night stay was a disaster, food arriving at the table overcooked .On complaining was told that the order would be replaced . The food arrived after the rest of my family had finished their's but was no better, parts of my original order were still on my plate therefore not only had they not been replaced but were cold and other parts that had been were still overcooked. After complaining again the cost of my food was refunded. The second night was no better ( the same limited availability, the prawn starter had no taste and the barbecue chicken melt had no bbq taste whatsoever ). We felt embarrassed to complain about the quality of our food on the second night as when we mentioned that things were not ok we would be either greeted with sarcastic comments like" Yes i don't like the salad dressing either" or what we were saying would be ignored by the server . A very disappointing experience and would opt to eat...

Came here the night before our cruise as was convenient. Booked Premier Inn over other local hotels because of urs reputation and being knowing what you get. We booked a family room for four. The room was clean and tidy but there was no aircon- first time this has ever been the case for a premier inn for us and we use a lot for both business and pleasure. It was stifling hot, with four in room too, awful night with not much sleep due to heat despite the fan. we do not feel refreshed. There is a thermostat on wall that indicated we can change temp however it does nothing and when speaking to receptionist about the heat she sid the theromstat doesnt do anything (but does tell us room was 28 degree hot!) and she said it did say no aircon was in small print. I feel this is quite important and should not be hidden in small print. I won't book here again for that reason. Our bathrooms fan didn't work so due to heat of main room plus there it added to humidity after everyone had showered. yuk. Resturant next door whilst lady serving our food was pleasant on arrival it was clear they couldn't cope with numbers, we'd pre booked a table and after standing at the "wait here to be greeted" for 10mins with no acknowledgement went and seated ourselves. we had to request table to be cleaned, bar was chaotic to order food and drinks, wait for food was very long, but the food was nice. We were told that the madness is due to the cruise departing next day. I question therefore why didn't they make adequate staffing arrangements. Breakfast was similar carnage but staff were very polite and...
