Visited here today and was utterly embarrassed as a result of the staff Anna and Magda. I came in and began queuing with my mother. Shortly after a table became available and I sat down with my baby. Then Anna came out and disproportionately loudly told me that I could not sit there as a man in front of us wanted the table. I got up but asked her whether there was a sign or anything as I have never been told this and I visit Costa frequently. Then Magda from behind the counter shouted out that it is first come first serve although she too did not answer me when I asked where it says this? At this point due to their shouting everyone in the shop was staring. It was humiliating. So much so the man in front offered me the table in question I politely declined and I left immediately due to embarrassment. I was shaking and even now at home I am still thinking about how poorly they treated me. It is shocking service and i wont shop there again. If this is policy i feel it should be clearly sign posted in every store and communicated with customers in a far more professional manner. If it isn't (and I suspect this is the case) then these staff members may need retraining in both costa policy and decent customer service. I would advise everyone not to use this...
Read moreMost unprofessional & inconsiderate manager ever ! I wish I could leave negative stars . Yesterday morning I went to costa for breakfast with my sister and nephew (13 months) . Minding our own business when all of a sudden the Manager Martilena came over to ask us to keep our little one from giggling & talking because she couldn’t hear other ppl properly ! He is just a wee little child and wasn’t shouting or anything even if he would be , he is a little baby what does she expect! She was rude and had a very rude tone as well , she was so unprofessional and inconsiderate. She left us shocked and unspeakable . She completely ruined our mood and day , it was suppose to be a great day out with my nephew & sister that I haven’t seen in ages for. I hope she learns to be considerate and a bit more friendlier it will only help...

They also forgot my order (a regular tea)for 45min and, when they brought it, they didn't bring sugar. As my old sergeant major used to say: "this team may be capable under adequate and constant supervision..." the rest, you don't want to know but, i assure you,...
