Firstly the good part. This is a very well located apartment block that is convenient for all amenities. Chris was very helpful on the phone when I arrived, and helped me to enter the apartment when neither of the door codes worked because I had been given the wrong codes prior to arrival. Sadly there were several downsides. I stayed in the Wall Street apartment which is on the top floor. The bathroom is crammed into the eaves and totally unsuitable for anyone tall. I was charged a cleaning fee of £65 as part of the booking fee which was unjustified given the fact that the shower head was filthy when I arrived and as a result I didn't want to use the shower. There's no freezer in the apartment and the fridge is not properly secured in its housing which meant that when I opened it, it fell out - good job it didn't land on my feet. There are no drawers next to the bed so there's nowhere to unpack small items. I really didn't want to live out of a suitcase for 3 days but had to for the clothes that couldn't be hung on the rails provided. The decorating in the apartment has not been carried out to a high standard and needs to be professionally done. The standard of finish is poor. The black theme has definitely been overdone, and lighting is substandard. The price point of the apartment is high, and for this price I would have expected accommodation of a significantly higher standard. I note the many 5* reviews here, my conclusion is that the people leaving them stayed in a different apartment in the block, amenities were better and the apartment had been cleaned properly.

Nice little apartment. Perfect location and very handy with a car park as part of the booking. We had a a couple of disappointments but overall the place was nice. Advertised as a very tech savvy apartment, the ok google would only open or close blinds (no big issue as we are perfectly capable of turning lights on but disappointing as not as advertised with all lights etc meant to be part of the system). If you book the “Wall street” apartment be aware that if you are taller than about 5 foot you will possibly hit your head in either the bedroom or bathroom with the low ceilings. If you are wanting to pay the price for being close to the hustle and bustle then this place is worth it, if you want the little things like a bag of tea or some coffee provided then might be best to stay a few streets out of the centre to get the extra little perks not provided here.

We stayed for the weekend in the bank managers office and it was a splash of modern luxury we haven't found elsewhere in Windermere over the last 20 years! The location is perfect and not noisy at all, we had to park over the road on Saturday night but this only cost 60 pence until 0730 the next morning so no worries. There is a well equipped kitchen with everything you should need fir a short stay. Communication is first rate and all stay information is accessed from your phone through a link and you are given a contact for any issues during your stay. If there was anything not perfect I'd have to say it was the bathroom is a little tight however given what they have achieved with this suite it more than understandable. I can't recommend the Rockeffeler enough so if you looking for something a bit different, classy and modern with a twist this is your place!

A few things that I feel are relevant:- The shower was very hit and miss as to whether there was any hot water and when you did get hot water it went to boiling very quickly and then cold again very quickly Oven gloves would have been useful as we did cook one night and there was nothing to use other than a tea towel We are not tall by any stretch of the imagination, but the bathroom sink was impossible to use without bending over It said CCTV monitored parking on the advert, which was one of the reasons we booked, but this turned out to be the public car park over the road,, you did say you would refund the parking, but this is not what we were expecting It is just too dark, a task light somewhere would be useful, as I could not even put makeup on as it was that dark Lots of the light switches don't work The blinds opened and closed during the day for no particular reason even when the remote was sat on the table The plug arrangement in the cupboard over the hob is not great Cleanliness was great, but a dustpan and brush would be have been useful as we split some bits and wanted to clean up Beds were super comfy Shower put water all over the bathroom floor so we had to use towels to mop this up Fridge moved when you opened it No TV signals anywhere, it was a good job we bought our own Firestick with us On the Sunday, we kept getting someone else signing into the wifi, which kept comping up on the TV with their password

On the whole we would stay again, but just not in...

Had a nice time at the investment lounge . However, there are some parts that sadly affected our stay. There was a family above us that we heard none stop for the entire duration of our two night stay. This was nonstop banging and stomping around from the early hours of the morning until the following morning. Also, we suspect that there is something wrong with the googledot in the bedroom as blinds would open at 6am whilst we were asleep so the buildings next to us could see straight in. We also had a few issues with the TV where we think the apartment above us was effecting the signal of our TV as it would shut off randomly and change onto random YouTube videos. The fridge also doesn't have a freezer inside of it, which we thought was quite strange for a self-contained flat. The bathroom in the master bedroom was lovely until we realised that the bathroom did not have a curtain so the toilet was on full view, I'm unsure if on the street you can actually see in but we felt quite uncomfortable about using it. The shower would also flood the bathroom because of the gap under the shower screen, and the hot water would also run out quite quickly. The decor itself was very nice the whole flat was very clean and presented well. We had a lovely time in the area, and the...
