Wow, what an experience this hotel was. And it definitely wasn't a pleasant one.

We came here over the F1 Silverstone weekend for one night and this was the only available hotel this weekend nearby and now we know why.

We arrived and check-in was reasonably quick. We got our room keys and walked through the various multicoloured strip light corridors to arrive to our rooms. Carpets hadn't been hoovered for a while and rooms were boiling hot. With no air conditioning.

We'd booked dinner online in the hotel restaurant and breakfast for the following day too.

We went down for dinner an hour before we were due and sat outside. It was a lovely evening so we asked if we could bring dinner forwards, which they said was not a problem. We asked to be moved out of the sun and into the shade so they moved us inside, when I asked why we couldn't sit on the terrace (which was out of the sun and completely empty) we were told that they had cleaned the table inside and we had to sit there and it would mean they would need to give us new cutlery, I said we'd happily move the cutlery and move to one of the other vacant tables, which after some pained faces from the manager, we did.

We ordered food and then waited for 50 minutes for it to arrive.

They stopped serving food at 9pm so we ordered desserts at 8.40pm, only for their ordering app to say food orders had finished. When I asked the staff they told us, yes they've closed the kitchen.

Had the worst night's sleep in a hotel ever. Mainly down to someone in the carpark revving their car engine at 4am, not the hotel fault admittedly but frustrating nonetheless.

We'd booked breakfast online for 9.30am and double checked when we checked in it was for 9.30am and were told yes all booked. Our room cost didn't include breakfast, so I paid the £9.50 per person for a cooked breakfast.

We got down to breakfast at 9.25am to be told they stopped serving breakfast at 8.30am. After lots of faffing about and then after a 10 minutes wait and telling them our room number 4 times and our name twice we were allowed to sit down.

They asked what do we want for breakfast, when my wife asked for a menu, a lady said there isn't one, it's just a full English. We ordered four and our "full English" arrived... Looking very sorry for itself, it was more like a quarter English in the middle of a plate.

If you're going to Silverstone and this is the only available hotel left, avoid it! Buy yourself a tent or sleep in your car. You'd get a better night's sleep and save yourself a...

We arrived here from Santa Pod a glorious day out but to find that the shower pole that holds the shower head came off, wasn't fixed properly. Went to adjust the pole to have a shower and washed then went to turn off the tap to it and it got locked on which kept the scalding hot water on myself which burnt me. We couldn't turn off the shower which then lead to a bit of a flood on the bathroom floor but the side glass door never kept the water in the bath whilst having a shower. Reported this to reception and the manager came up to sort but let it slip that this was already reported to reception the night before yet still this room was let out to ourselves when clearly this shouldn't have been. Then he denied it. We were then moved to another room next door but clearly could hear the shower still running. We heard the maintenance team and manager arguing next door about the issue and other complaints from previous guests, which we clearly thought wasn't professional. Only two sachets of coffee, two sachets of sugar, not enough milk to last you through the night! The sink tap water was very hot even though there was a hot water sign but that was very hot, scalding in fact. The wi fi was intermittent, the breakfast staff was very abrupt and rude, no friendly staff to hand. Breakfast was very poor, greasy, cold. Plus we didn't realise that this particular hotel does not serve evening meals on a Sunday, this was the day we arrived, so had to find somewhere local to eat. I would not recommend this hotel as we then see more property faults with this building as well, plus toilets downstairs not very hygienic I can see why previous guests have complained about hygiene at...

Booked an evening meal here with my husband, having moved to the area recently we had never been before and we are literally in walking distance! When we first arrived we were a little confused. There were signs up or areas but none corresponding with what we had booked on the website, there was also a wedding on and didn't want to walk in on it so went to reception to see where we were meant to go. However there was no one there. After walking around for a few minutes and calling (with no answer) trying to find where we needed to go we headed back to reception where someone had finally shown up and got directions. We had booked for the terrace restaurant. We arrived at the bar waited and the waitress asked where we wanted to be seated, i said somewhere quiet, she then sat us in the middle of the wedding party. We were asked to order at the bar. When my husband went to order he had waited 15 minutes to be second in line and then told there was a 45 minute wait for food! We ended up leaving and booking somewhere else last minute, a lovely little tapas place called tres angelos on the kettering road. I get there was a wedding on but it wasnt busy with non wedding guests and would assume this is something they would accommodate for?! Had i of known at the time of booking I would booked for another day. The whole experience from start to finish has put me off going somewhere that could of been a nice regular haunt for me and my husband and also friend and family when...

Over priced and dated.... The bed felt like it was made of cardboard. The hallway outside was laminate so I have heard every step since 5am and the constant moan and groan the door makes out there. The room is and smells very dusty. The bathroom is dirty, The shower water pressure is next to nothing. They don't do breakfest... Only on Sundays... The bar is very expensive for products I assume that have been kept since lockdown 1.0. Because it was 25 pound! For 3 vodkas with flat lemonade. My friends double room in the 600+ plus rooms are nice and up to date. Ironically I paid 14 pound more for a single, smaller, dated smelly room in the 100-200 rooms. There isn't air con in room either. Bar are and garden sitting area is nice and spacious. Reasonable sized car park. I asked for a room change but was told they was fully booked. I complained on the last day and was then told I could of changed room so no money was refunded. Don't stay in room 113... Unless you want a roof for a view through a dirty window and a poor night sleep with a bad knack and back. All the staff was kind and friendly. Just the hotel room it self was a downer.

One of my worst nights ever. After 1 HR to check in due to it being a business trip and I do not have access to the card that booked the room, I finally got to my small, but clean room. All windows were wide open. Didn't really thing too much as it may just be to allow heat to escape and general ventilation. Went for tea, but it was quite late, so on returning, got ready for bed. Popped to the loo, and noticed a smell of sewage. Thought it must be coming from the open window, so closed them, and the door. Didn't sleep well, tossed and turn but felt groggy. Got up 430 ish as I couldn't settle to go the bathroom. The whole room smelled vile as the sewage aroma was coming from inside the room, along with the toxic gases that I was breathing in all night. The night receptionist, Geo, visited the room and confirmed the smell. I left at 5am.

All I’m saying is you get what you pay for here. Room was tiny I mean tiny, dirty - not just dusty, but actually grimy - look at my picture of the light switch. I closed my eyes to everything else because I just felt so uncomfortable. I won’t critique the decor but it’s not exactly attractive. Has to be the most depressing wedding hotel ever. There weren’t enough staff at any point….the website is really hard to use… I don’t really have any thing good to say about this place. Would have been more comfortable to camp.
