Big gravel car park when you arrive and entry is easily conducted following the instructions from Muse Escapes. There are no members of staff, but everything is clearly communicated via email and texts, so there were no problems there. A very comprehensive guide is located within the room, but it is also available to read prior to your arrival through the website. (The WiFi on site is fast and strong). Very, very clean a modern kitchen and big freeview tv, also a lovely wing backed leather armchair to fall asleep in. Huge fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker, 4 slot toaster, micro-wave, washing machine the works, well equipped. Bed is ultra comfy and the rooms are well insulated from noise outside. There are double electrical sockets each side of the bed (no usb). Slept very well. HUGE bath. It was a break my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed, and totally recommend.

Excellent standard fulfilling the Luxury tagline perfectly. Fully kitted out kitchen, wonderful clawfoot bath with included large shower feature (good water pressure). Modern heating system and smart TV. Excellent furnishings and large comfortable bed with top quality bedding. The building itself has numerous period features and has been renovated to top standard for modern living. Within 5 minute drive of the town centre (on foot would take much longer but busses are available with a bus stop on the road outside) Perfectly situated for local tourism locations, 3 caverns nearby and multiple high quality hikes in the 15-30 minute range. Within comfortable foot distance is a local woods. Highly recommended for couples and solo travellers. Larger suites are also available for bigger groups. Well worth the price.

Faultless stay! I’ve stayed here friends, family, as a couple, solo and even our dog—and every visit has been nothing short of wonderful. The décor is tastefully done throughout, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the whole place feels designed for relaxation. Extremely clean with crisp white bedsheets. My family absolutely loved their break here, and my mother- and father-in-law were just as impressed. It’s a peaceful retreat that offers something for everyone. Self catering with a well appointed kitchen and complimentary locally roasted coffee. The Crescent Suite is my personal favourite—beautifully appointed and so relaxing. Every detail, from the furnishings to the ambiance, makes our stay feel like a relaxing staycation.

Nine of us stayed across two apartments, The Opera (ground floor) and The Devonshire (penthouse apartment), and had a wonderful experience. The Opera has a hot tub and barbecue with outdoor furniture, a large living space and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay. The Devonshire is equally well appointed with a huge lounge/kitchen and three bedrooms (with bathrooms) over two levels. One of the bathrooms has a freestanding copper bath. The stunning decor is high quality and everything is spotless. The hot tub facility is wonderful and was well used by us. We had very comfortable beds, crisp linens and quality towels. There were robes in the Opera for hot tub use. This was booked by my friend and we were able to secure a later check out from the Devonshire, enabling us to sort everything out on departure and have a more leisurely breakfast. Communication was efficient and the owners were very helpful on a number of fronts. The property is 20 mins or so walk from the centre of Buxton. It was absolutely perfect for our special occasion. This old house has been given a new lease of life and certainly has the WOW factor for visitors. There is parking within the grounds. Standard check out is 10am with check in from 4pm. Highly...

I booked a room because I am going on a business trip to visit a exhibition in a quarry in the area. A couple of weeks after my reservation has been confirmed they contacted me and wanted me to cancel my reservation. Blaming a double booking in the booking.com system. I have been using booking .com for many years and have never experienced that a double booking has been made in their system. The truth is probably that they received an inquiry for a larger group and therefore decided to cancel my reservation. They also pointed out that there was other options available in the area so it wouldnt make any difference for me, except for the hassle of me finding a new hotel of course. I think this is very unprofessional and would suggest anyone that makes reservations with this hotel to also make a back up reservation with another hotel just to make sure that you are not standing there without any room after your flights have been booked. And if you make a back up reservation why even bother booking Foxlow Grange since you cant trust that you will get the room? Oh, did I mention that I am also a very early booker since the booking is...

Lovely apartment style rental located in Buxton just up the hill from the town itself. There is a bus stop outside the building which can take you to town should you not want to drive. There are numerous suites you can book each with a different theme and various sizes some with hot tubs and some with big brass tubs. They are well equipped kitchen wise and I liked that they included dishwasher pods and replacement garbage bags as well as proper tea towels and washing up supplies |The beds were very comfortable and it is a nice quiet location. The building is pet friendly and has a lovely pet counter when you walk in with poop bags, treats and paw towels. I did like the tiles on the floors and the art in the entrance hall which added to the old world 🌎 considered construction |This is an older building with modern conveniences. Lovely pub just further up the road (Park Hill) for a bite and lots of good walking...
