From the time of booking to the time we left after our stay, Mike and Jane were very hospitable. We had a lovely room at the back of the house, with the most amazing views over the countryside. The room was very well appointed and we didn't need to ask for anything. There was even a fridge on the landing, full of chocolate bars, with an honesty box beside. We had a really comfortable nights sleep, the bed was divine. The breakfast that Jane produced was amazing, the best I have seen for some time. There were cereals, fresh fruit (figs from their garden, grapes, pineapple, and more, with yoghurt. The full English was lovely, though I am not sure about the white pudding, but that is my own preference. There were so much that we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day.    Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights in order to look around the area. Redroofs is in a good location, about 1/2 mile from the town - an easy, but uphill walk, or a short drive away. Our room and en-suite were of a good size and well equipped. Countryside views from the room were very nice and the house was very quiet giving a good nights sleep. Very comfortable, nice finishing touches (the fridge by our rooms was particularly useful in this hot weather) and the breakfast was very popular. Technically a B&B but we were made very welcome, able to come and go as we wished, and we enjoyed a few relaxing drinks on the patio.
