I recently had a stay at this dismal hotel and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. The rooms are outdated, dirty and unbearably hot. The loo had urine stains and the shower was full of hair. The rooms are incredibly outdated even for a premier inn. Then, in the middle of the night, we heard people up and down the corridors making loud noises and then someone knocked on our door. I spoke to reception the next day and they gave me a card to contact someone about the good night sleep guarantee. However, I don't qualify as I didn't alert reception when the knocking started, which was around 3am. I explained that I didn't do this as I was worried about my safety, especially as my child was with me.
Then it gets worst. Breakfast was horrendous. Waited an hour and a half to receive a cold breakfast that wasn't even what I ordered. We were also told upon booking it was an unlimited breakfast but when we arrived we were told we could only have 2 of each item. Furthermore, Customer service at the beefeater is seriously worrying.

I was going to write a lovely review until I stayed in there overnight .first thing First I have worked in the retail sector for over 30 years. And despite all the hardships I have gone threw I have always shown the public a smile and yes sir or madam . I now have staff of my own and one thing I will not tolerate is ... Staff swearing near kids!! Thanks for your abusive words towards another member of staff on a Sunday morning in the restrant . Maybe the so called gentalman should look behind him before he swears . In fact don't we won't be back. I would ring your head office to complane or even speak to your area director. Why? Folks who have had a awful nights sleep due to slamming doors till 12 pm don't want to hear you! You truely are a staff member who needs to got rid of. Thanks for swearing near of our 9 year old!...

Very noisey roads outside if you like quiet don’t book this hotel. You can open the windows for ventilation if you don’t like air con . Nice smell in stair case.
No lifts and I had a challenge with all my luggage. Customer service is what you would expect for this star rating, no attention to details or go the extra mile attitude.
Booking rooms is not easy.
Car parking is easy.
Near to lots of great places to eat and restaurant staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Have USB ports for your phones by the bed.
No Netflix or apps on TV’s. Beds a very comfy.
Card does not keep lights On auto with a slot.
Stayed here for 7 days, was fairly comfortable.
