Absolutely perfect location and so peaceful. We were even more lucky to have the place to ourselves. We stayed in a shepherd's hut. I'd worried we may get a bit chilly, however we ended up having the windows open in the evening and at night as it was so cosy! Great walks from the doorstep and also a brilliant base for exploring the Cotswolds. The only kind of negatives were...the mattress could have been more comfy and there could do with being a couple more kitchen utensils...a bread knife and a decent sized sharp knife for starters. They weren't game changers though, we would definitely recommend and we will...

Shown into our hut by the owner's mother, a lovely lady, very accommodating, gave us a pint of milk so we could have a cuppa. The huts were built by the owner's father. Lovely little space with welcome warmth from the electric wood burner. Clean and comfortable with just the right amount of modern conveniences. Beautiful remote setting, sheep, lots of pheasants! Outdoor bbq. We awoke to a flat battery on our motorbike. The parents came immediately to our rescue- they took the battery away on the RTV and charged it, then returned it. Lovely people. Cosy hut. All that you need. Liked this...

Really great stay! Spent the weekend cycling around the Cotswolds and spent one night in the rookery shepherds huts. Hot shower and heated .. which was just what we needed after a rainy cycle. Only draw back no WiFi .. but perhaps a positive of you are trying to escape for the weekend!

This place is incredible. It's so peaceful here. I recommend it to those who love walking outdoors. There's a tower and a nuclear bunker, and you can see it all. You have to climb down a ladder to get to the nuclear bunker.
