Beautiful views and delicious cafe. Impressive Tower you can enter for a fee. There is also another attraction a nuclear bunker at another cost. Parking was £3 when we visited. Deer were close in a field beside the cafe. Easy accessible to Tower by foot. Not the climb I was expecting but there are walks near by.

Great place to visit, the nuclear bunker well worth a visit also - but beware that access is via a manhole/ trapdoor with steep vertical metal ladder with narrow rungs - about 20ft down. Not fit the faint hearted or infirm

Lovely place for a walk with family and dog. The tower has it's charm, well restored with 4 levels. Amazing views from the terrace. In the end stopped by the coffee shop that sell lovely hot drinks and tasty cakes 🤤

Broadway Tower is a stunning historic folly set atop one of the highest points in the Cotswolds, offering breathtaking panoramic views across the English countryside. Located near the picturesque village of Broadway in Worcestershire, England, this 18th-century tower was designed by the renowned landscape architect Capability Brown and built in 1798. It stands at 312 meters (1,024 feet) above sea level, making it one of the best vantage points in the region.

Why It’s Amazing to Visit

Broadway Tower is a perfect destination for those who appreciate nature, history, and scenic landscapes. The walk up to the tower takes you through rolling hills, lush meadows, and typical Cotswold scenery, with sheep grazing and wildflowers dotting the fields. The sense of isolation, combined with the timeless beauty of the countryside, makes it an ideal place for reflection and unwinding.

Best Time to Visit – Before Sunset

If you visit on a clear day before sunset, the experience becomes truly magical. The golden light casts long shadows across the hills, highlighting the textures of the landscape. The air is crisp, and you can often see as far as 16 counties from the top of the tower, stretching across the Malvern Hills, the Black Mountains of Wales, and even the distant Chilterns.

As the sun lowers, the Cotswold stone glows in warm hues, and the entire area takes on a peaceful, almost ethereal atmosphere. The solitude and quietness, combined with the view, make it a fantastic spot to sit, reflect, and absorb the beauty of nature.

Watching the Sunset from Broadway Tower

Sunset at Broadway Tower is an unforgettable experience. The sky turns shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting off the fields and hills, creating a dreamlike landscape. On particularly clear evenings, you might even see the lights of distant towns begin to flicker on, adding to the enchantment of the moment.

For a perfect ending, you can bring a small picnic, sit on the grassy slopes, and simply watch as the sun disappears beyond the horizon. If the night is clear, staying a little longer can also reward you with a breathtaking view of the stars above, as light pollution is minimal...

Great circle route from Tower Barn to the Tower where the good toilets are - the others are portacabin type! Deer are kept in a central park next to the Tower. Can walk up from Broadway East of the roundabout, take about an hour 1.5 miles

Great coffee. I would recommend the Tower Barn as a preference. Expensive little shop where you can hire ebikes. Still great for browsing

At weekends, don't forget the nuclear bunker tour. Views from the top of the Tower...
