Mineral Springs Motel — Hotel in Addison (Webster Springs)

First time, last time. It’s so dated that you can’t really tell if it’s clean or not. Bedspread is dark and prob from the 70’s. Upon check in, refrigerator is turned off so don’t expect to keep anything cold right away. Shower has very low water pressure. Limited channels on TV. If there’s wi-if, we were never told at check in. No hair dryer. Noticed other rooms (#28) smelled musty/moldy. A/C is old unit (#21)...will keep you up all night. This room has 2 doubles or 2 queens. Be prepared if you sleep in the bed closer to the a/c unit. It will blow in your face all night if you leave it on auto. If you set it to Energy Save, it will turn on and off every 5 min or so all night long. Either way, you won’t get rest. Some rooms have a glass-block window above the sink. Close the curtains otherwise the light will keep you up all night. Walking distance to Main St Diner but not open on Sun til 10a. There’s a place called Vickie’s that offers breakfast and opens really early. Cheap too. Reserve your room and guarantee with credit card but pay with cash on arrival to avoid fee. I was there October 10..11 checked out on the 12th . Checked out before 10am on the 12th because I was back home in Grafton by 11:15am. Realized when I got home I forgot my Pillows called immediately and talked to owner he said he could ship them back to me I told him I'd pay him for the shipping. I still have not received my Pillows and have called 4 times and get a different excuse everytime.. the forgot or haven't found them. Here's my question . How can they not find them we locked the room when we left so no one could have got in the room except the person cleaning or the owner or staff? It was less then 4 hours from the time I left to when I called..it wouldn't be such a big deal but my mom bought those pillows for me and I lost her September 17 2023 and I made that clear to the owner. Just watch if you forget something important you might not get it back. And they very rarely answer the phone I've left messages for them to call back.. still waiting on...

This Motel is older and is a little run down, but is clean and the beds were not too bad... The area was safe enough and wasn't any sketchy people running around the area... It's the only Motel in the town, so don't expect to find any other places to stay in Webster Springs W.V... My ratings have nothing to do with the owners as they were friendly enough, but it is just dated and could use an upgrade... Inside was clean and doors still have keys, NOT Key cards. No dead bolts, but didn't have a need for them... The motel sits in the holler with mountains on all sides... It also has a creek running behind the motel and has trout running upstream... Over all, it was a good stay for 3 days and will/would go...
