Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Alpine — Hotel in Alpine Northwest

The staff were professional, welcoming, friendly and inviting. The rooms were sparkling clean! |The included breakfast was enjoyable and fresh. I really enjoyed the coffee machine they had available 24/7. It was coffee shop quality! |The rooms were bright! the beds were comfortable. I did not stay long enough to use the kitchen area in the rooms. Recommend staying here for long term business stays, short term vacation stays. Affordable, newly open, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast! Close to all the National parks, Yellowstone, Targhee and Grand Teton. Close to Jackson Hole and Idaho Falls. The room itself was nice and clean and the manager Matthew is nice. My complaint is that they double charged my room, saying it was a "hold" fee (no other hotel on my trip did anything like this) and it would be gone at check out. It was not deleted and I had to address this 3 times, with just a bunch of run-around. One night during my stay, another guest was at the desk complaining about the same thing. There is something shady going on here. The dining room is beyond dysfunctional but the coffee machine is amazing. The parking lot has no turn-around so you have to back up the whole way to turn around. I would not...

We were charged on VISA 3 times for one nights stay. When we confronted management about the error, they apologized and said they would remove them. A month later and numerous emails and phone calls, we are told they have done all they can and we are stuck with the extra charges (over $1000). Now we are having to dispute the fraudulent charges with VISA and will consider having the manager and his desk clerk charged with fraud. DO NOT trust this...
