A while back I left a positive review for Alex, an employee of the Sky World Cafe inside the Oneida Hotel. Today I was once again in line to order the Ham, Spinach, Egg Crossaint Sandwich that I love with my entire soul and tastes so delicious. And the same employee, Alex who I once praised was now in line next to me dressed very professionally and I learned she had been promoted to the supervisor of Sky World as well as a couple of other restaurants/eateries in the Hotel. We spoke a little and when she realized the line was building up around us, she said she could come back, and she left the line to let customers be served first instead of staying in line to order what I would guess to have been a much deserved morning coffee for herself. That was the first impressive move she made. It was my turn to order, and I breifly turned around to grab a drink and when I looked up, to hand in my signed receipt... there was Alex. She had now appeared behind the register like a ninja with her hair tied back to lend a hand to her employee that was working the counter. Instead of ordering her own coffee and making more work for her co-worker and instead of disappearing to do "manager things" she put her own needs aside and put the customers and her teammate 1st. This young lady has impressed me multiple times over the last year or two maybe even 3. But today showed very clearly her awareness, customer service and team player skills. I applaud the Oneida Hotel for seeing the value in Alex's work ethic and promoting her occordingly. I look forward to seeing her continue to level up in her career. She is without question a great asset to any company she chooses to be a part of. And it makes me think Oneida Hotel must have a management team that appreciates and awards their team members. Which in turn makes me enjoy visiting thier establishment even more. All the crew at The Cafe has always been professional and efficient with a customer service focused culture. Good job to everyone involved. And thank you for creating such and inviting experience. And Way to go with always impressing me and rising to the occasion Alex! And NO, they did not burn my sandwich, I request it double toasted every-time. Even as I sit and eat my sandwich Alex has continued to assist in the cafe. I am impressed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe room was not clean by any means, the toilet paper holder literally fell off the wall as i opened the door. The coffee is over priced and it was cold, not that the dumbest barista in the world understood that. I dont know how you pay this much to have A SANDER START SANDING ACROSS THE HALL AT 8AM!!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! I will go way outta my way to actively discourage people i know from ever doing business with any Onidea casino/hotel/resort. What an absolute waste of my families time and money. UPDATE: Mind you i have not even checked out yet! While i was being mad about the ungodly noise across the hall i just happend to check my bank account. Lo and behold im being charged TWICE for this rat trap hell hole! So, i go down to fix it and upon getting my receipt discover that yet another useless employee has charged me $93.70 FOR ONE TYLENOL AND ONE EXCEDRIN!! She knew she messed it up last night when we bought it and if i had not checked before we left would have just been allowed to. I am floored. This is so extremely unprofessional and disgusting. Do not for any time or money do business with these...

The hotel is beautiful and cozy. You are 10 mins away from the stadium ($10-15 uber ride) The rooms are spacious and comfortable. a family of 4 have more than enough room in their together. Right next to the Hotel, there is a Gas station which is super convenient. If you are a gambler, The casino is very nice. It includes a poker room and a sportsbook along with many slots and table games. They also have a smoke shop inside the casino! Drinks are super cheap in the casino as well.
The food in this Hotel is amazing. We were there for 4 days, ate there everyday and did not have anything that we did not love. The breakfast is around $18 a person, all you can eat buffet style. (drinks here are pricy though) the Steak, lambchops and porkchops were delicious along with their mac and cheese. They also have a small coffee shop in the lobby which was great and a beer garden for nice nights outside.
The pool is indoors along with a hot tub and sauna / gym. Open 24 hours except...
