We stayed here for 3 nights and were unbelievably impressed at nearly every aspect of our stay.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom door needed some effort to close, but that hardly counts an issue. The room got cold and stayed cold, which was nice as it was so hot and humid during our visit. The pillows were super comfy and the bed was fantastic.
The hotel itself was great. The staff were mostly kind and helpful. The layout can get a little confusing, but it didn’t take long to figure out. The artwork and artifacts spread throughout the hotel and room were really fascinating to stop and look at, and I found myself looking at everything far closer and longer than I would anywhere else.
Played at the casino most nights. It was fun and lively most of the time. The noodle bar in the casino had a surprisingly good menu and plenty of good late night food options. All of the things we got there late night were delicious.
The coffee shop was really a great addition. Had something there each day and each time it was great.
Cedar and Sage, the restaurant, was one of the highlights of the trip for us. Had lunch there and sampled a ton of the different dishes. Everything was absolutely tremendous. The Three Sisters dip and Maple Sriracha duck wings were particular favorites of mine. The beer cheese and potato soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. The pesto was a fantastic addition. Everything we tried had a comfortable feel to it, but with a really great twist. Spotted Cow on draft didn’t hurt their case either. A truly great spot for a meal and one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, especially attached to a hotel.
Overall a very very good experience here, and I would recommend it to anyone. I will absolutely be staying here again. The price, the options, the room, the food blew away my expectations. Cedar and Sage being one of the most notable meals in recent memory made the whole experience even more worth it.
Highly recommend. Thank you to everyone who blew us away just doing your normal day...
Read moreBig true Review!
I would highly recommend to people in fact I love this place. Please don't let these lying small negative reviews from giving this place a shot. This place is fun and full of nice people complaining about losing its a casino your not suppose to spend your rent here.
The Casino itself- Its nice and huge has two separated buildings one for the bingo hall and a smaller casino and one huge one attached to the hotel. Mask are mandated but so is everything else in Wisconsin. Your temp is checked at the door. (( Free Drinks is always a nice bonus )) Nice staff and clean inside!
-Bingo- Pros! - its nice a pack will let you play most of the games all night and there are plastic divider's you can get free drinks and the workers are very nice and even will help you understand the game. Each game is a minimal of $300 dollar pay outs so these reviews of only getting $50 no idea how.
Cons- The caller sometimes goes way to fast so if you wanna make sure you win or lose get a computer that is free for everyone. Sometimes the same person or table wins twice and that shouldn't be able to happen. The packs Don't have a title of the name so you have to pay attention.
-Slots- Pros- Again free drinks and you also get sometimes get promo credits to use if your a member. There are so many slots to pick from some as low as 20 cents to $20.00 make sure you pay attention to how much you have to bid to get bonus's Its not as tight as people claim! Also sometimes you get promo credits to use as long as your a member.
There are no real cons to the slots cause you win more then you do playing bingo or cards . Id say just pay attention to what you need to bid to get the bonus and know when to pull out golden rule. The money normally is in favor of the house not you but that's the case at every casino.
Tables I haven't played yet so cant mention anything about poker or...
Read moreAs soon as we stepped foot in the casino, security subjected us, two Black African Americans both wearing lightweight Nike track pants, to racial profiling, unjustly accusing us of carrying a firearm. This accusation set off a chain of events that left us to be harassed and targeted. As we moved between two casinos casually, we were unknowingly being tracked by armed police officers and casino security.
We found ourselves surrounded by police officers armed and wearing vests while peacefully sitting at a table playing a game. They advised us to put our hands where they could see them, forcing us to leave the table. They then forced us to the back of the casino, away from public view. We continuously asked what we had done but we were advised they would inform us once we were out of the casino. The walk through the casino, with police officers surrounding us, was not only humiliating but also terrifying. The history of Wisconsin's wrongful arrests and police brutality against Black individuals is no secret and it further heightened our fear, as we believed our lives were in true danger.
While the situation did not escalate to the tragic extent we had feared, it is crucial to emphasize that this entire incident could have been avoided if stereotyping and racial profiling were not factors at play. It’s crazy that we still face these injustices in society today. We demand an explanation!
We call upon Oneida Casino and law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that no one else experiences such unwarranted treatment. Being black is NOT a crime...
