Rooms were nice size and clean modern. Had standard breakfast I would expect for price range nothing I would write home about scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles were main features. The biggest impression this place left on me and I worked in the hotel industry for many years have never done this to anyone , I called to ask if I Could have a early check in at 11:45 after waiting on hold the response I received was, If I check in before 12:00pm I will be charged another whole day after 12:00pm $30 more or wait till 3 so I waited till 3 my room after tax for 1 night was already $165. This is unacceptable, that is what I call price gouging. A simple yes your room is ready or no your room is not ready yet. After check in went out to lobby and there was another customer very unhappy about something stormed out saying I'm going elsewhere. Price , condition are all one thing but if you show no emotion just the palm of your hand waiting for customer to pay up they will pay to someone that shows their appreciation. The rest of the experience wasn't much better: the pillows were tiny, and the breakfast can be described as "Some calories in the form of the cheapest food that was available."
I am a realistic person, and I comprehend that it is not a Hilton, but come on! The refrigerator and especially the A/C unit are vital for the summer. They should be operational, period.
Next time I will choose any other place but...
Read moreWe had asked for a handicapped accessible room with double beds because we both have arthritis and it is hard for us to move freely. The desk and chair were so close to the bed and my husband kept tripping over it. You could hardly pull the chair out to sit because it was so close to the bed. We had no big chair with foot rest because there was no room for it. The beds were so high we could hardly get in them. They were not double beds. They were way too big for that room! The bathroom was good. Breakfast buffet was awful from cold scrambled eggs to rubber cold sausages all juice dispensers were out! They wanted to charge us an extra $25 in case we buy something from the store. They would credit us in the end. Where is that a good business practice?.We have stayed there many times in the pasted, and never had this terrible problem. But I am hesitant to stay...
