Even though it’s most convenient to connect here when visiting family, I will try to avoid this airport at all costs. Not only is every store and restaurant always closed, I have flown all over the U.S. and Mexico and have never been treated like a criminal as much as I am at this airport...twice! It’s humiliating and ridiculous, especially when we are military and have our military IDs. It must be routine because I heard an older man tell someone the phone that he always feels like a criminal at this airport. I even had my smallest checked bag searched and they put my clothes back haphazardly without using the straps and clips. Sidenote: Funny how the TSA says “thank you for your cooperation” on the card regarding the bag search when I did not know about it...how could I cooperate? I will stop in Chicago and drive several hours out of my way to...

Went through security, and they took out all of my 3oz toiletries, then told me I had to throw one out. Whatever, I'll do it. When I threw one of them in the garbage and I missed BY ACCIDENT, they acted like I was flailing a weapon and I was acting crazy when I didn't even raise my voice. It was 4am and I was barely in the mood to talk, let alone have my bag torn into and have all my toiletries taken out when I've never had an issue with them, before. Again, correct sizes but they weren't in one bag so they threw a hissy fit. They also gave me my watch and license back before sending me through the scanner, which I've never seen security do anywhere before. Overreacting in one area while underreacting in others. I've been through this airport since I was a kid, and this was the weirdest experience...

Extremely rude staff. Everyone moves very slow as if you didn’t pay money to catch a flight. Tiny airport, not many food options. I travel with my job & I’ve been flying consistently for 9months...now all of a sudden at this airport my carry on bag is “too big” for their small planes (their planes are as small as private jets) so I was forced to pay an extra $25 check in fee when there was someone else who had the same size bag as I did and they did not have to pay the “extra fee.” Lisa & Jeff who were working the United Airline were very rude, not compassionate, nor do they have listening skills, or professionalism....
