American Inn Motel — Hotel in Beach Park

First of all, the room I got with my man in 108 was not cleaned as trash under bed, outlets barely worked, as well as the tub dirty and half broken toilet seat. The AC unit worked when it wanted to work, but the biggest digusting thing was dealing with bed bugs at night. Yes I dealt with the pain and suffering for 3 weeks and 2 days, and when you address the staff besides the owner they are very rude and always in your business. My man and I had to do our housekeeping the whole time while there and certain times to get what you need for room. Yes I got documentation of the bites from sleeping in their bed called pictures, and a doctors note as I am on medicated cream to relieve the issue as well as when we tried to resolve the issue, they say oh no one has complained about it which is a lie as I talked to many others and they had same issue. They had to call the health dept and go to their doctor. As the doc I saw said, you have to literally get rid of mattress and fumigate room as that's the only way to get rid of the bugs in room. They refunded us for 4 days as we were persistant, but all the pain and suffering and being pregnant, it wasn't good enough. We did our end, but our suggestion is clean the room properly as animals bring in unnecessary stuff if owner don't take care of pet. Plus if you leave property there, they are not honest with you as my man left a ps4 controller and know it was in the room as we called but they denied it was there. And when we checked in as we called ahead we were given one rate and then when we want to pay the rate given on phone, it was 20 dollars...

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We made our reservation and arrived late due to a flat. The front desk man was rude and asked why we didn't get here earlier. The furniture is broken (drawers, table), the walls have been colored and written all over, and there is a broken tv still on the wall. The fridge shelves are all broken and taped together and due to a lack of working outlets you have to unplug the fridge to use the microwave! We have only 1 working outlet available for use and it is squashed behind the bed! My daughter is ill and she threw up on the sheets and when we vrought the dirty ones to the front and asked for new ones we had to beg! Same with the towels and broom! The towels look dirty even though they claim they are clean. The worst part is the beggars and prostitutes we have been confronted with right outside our door! Also I almost forgot the shower goes cool to warm and the water pressure is a trickle. The water never gets cold enough to have a glass of water. This place should...

Complaint Details||Well the hotel is unclean and unkept the room I stayed in was dirty and filthy and look like it has not been clean and then me and my kids and I was bit by bed bugs this hotel also have roaches the so-called housekeeping guy that they have do not clean he cleans with fabric softener no disinfect when they carry out the clean linen they don't put it in bags, and they don't put the dirty linen in bags. This hotel is very unsanitary in which cause for me and my children to get sick from this place and the owner charge people $20 a late fee daily if you're on a weekly rate and waiting for your check. They only have flat sheets no fitted sheets. There where blood and feces on the wall in the room, bathroom is so dirty I had to clean the room they put me in with mattress fill with bed bugs.till another room that me . and my brother had to clean before moving belongings in another room.
