Let me start out by saying that we visit this Culver’s pretty regularly as we enjoy the custard.
We go through the drive thru on a Friday night (5/12/23). I can tell whoever was at the speaker was distracted as I heard some giggling. I ask for 2 - 1 scoop lemon ice and 1 - 1 scoop Sundae. I can tell the girl was having a hard time understanding so she asks me if I want “scoops.”So I repeat what I asked for. Of course the screen is not working for me to confirm so I pull up to the window and look at my order and they gave me 2 - 2 scoop lemon ice. I tell them that I want to make sure I only get charged for the 1 scoops that I originally ordered since it was her mistake. They give me the 2 scoops and search for a manager to give me my refund. He then had to look for another manager and at this point I wonder what is going on. He says he will refund me the 2 scoops and charge me for the 1 scoops. I say okay. But then he asked me for the 2 scoops back and they gave me the 1 scoops I originally asked for. I am sorry but I had to laugh as my niece had already started eating hers. But the manager insisted that they needed them back. So not only did they make a mistake, they wasted my time, the people behind me’s time and they wasted product. Good customer satisfaction would have been to refund me the difference but also let me keep the 2 scoops.
There is only 1 gentleman there was always gets my order right but unfortunately I don’t know his name! The evening shift most of the time is a party and there is no professionalism from this...
Read moreUpdate I was contacted by management for the opportunity to make things right. The kitchen manager personally remade my order for free and it was as hot and delicious as I know culvers to be. I've been in the restaurant one other time after and the same thing: hot and delicious. Looks like they are making a conscious effort to turn things around. I hope it continues indefinitely! Update
I don't know what the heck the problem is, but it seems like dinner crew just does not give a care. First of all, one of the cheese sauce containers opened in my to go bag and spilled cheese sauce over everything else. I guess I should be ok with it because a "large" order of fries is now the size small used to be so I didn't need the extra cheese sauce after all. The burger was mediocre. I suppose if I actually liked the onion peels they called grilled onions that were on it, it would have been better than mediocre. Definitely need better management during dinner. This has NEVER happened during the morning or early afternoon. Craig Culver...
Read moreWorst of them all. I go to this location 2-3 times a week because it’s the nearest one, but I don’t know what it is about No Mayo & No Tomato that they don’t seem to comprehend. I understand the mistake but nearly every single time I use the drive tru my order is made wrong. Even after going in and letting them know what the mistake is and after them making a new one they decide to add mustard on the remake, when mustard doesn’t even come with that particular burger. So after 30 minutes I walk back in and ask for a refund, cause I’ve been at work for 12 hours and I’m hungry and no longer wanted to wait another 15-20 minutes for them to make the correct burger. Instead I drive to the Gurnee Location (where I’ll probably go to from now on) and had the best meal that I’ve never had at the Zion location. I blame bad management, too many employees wandering around getting into...
