Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Zion

On February 8th 2025 my wife and I went to the Zion Illinois Popeyes with a gift card we received for Christmas. We went through the drive through and placed our order of 3 Classic chicken sandwiches, a Mac and cheese, and an order of fries. When we went to pay the female employee at the window she had an attitude immediately with the gift card. There were quite a few cars behind us in the drive through so we pulled up to check the bag and the fries were missing. We pulled back around to notify the employee that the fries were missing. She yelled, and I mean she yelled, at least five times at us that the fries were in the bag when they weren't. Finally she gave us our fries, slammed the window shut, gave us the middle finger, and hustled away before we could take a photo! I called the corporation to complain and they stated it was a franchise owned location and all they could do was notify the franchise owner and the management of the location would get back to me. Three weeks have passed, I have had 17 emails between the corporate office and myself and still no call or email from the management of the Zion location. Evidently they don't care and feel it is ok for their employees to act in this manner. I encourage everyone to avoid this location. The manager at this establishment in Zion Il was so rude! I went though drive thru waited 5 minutes with no service, another pulled up and was served, when they finally got to me I told her I had been waiting and they served someone else, she rudely said she just got to the register and don't know nothing about that, I proceeded to order, she was rude the whole time, when I finished I drove up to window and asked if she can repeat, I ordered, she said she would not and slammed the window in my face, I then went inside to ask for manager, turns out she was the manager, I asked for her manager number she refused to give it to me and started typing in her phone I told her that her customer service was terrible and I would be reporting her and letting others know she told me so and to get out. Today I waited to be acknowledged for 5-10 minutes. No one was in line. I would’ve appreciated if they said “ hey , I’m busy give us a minute “. No . So, I went to the window. The lady ignored me for another 5 minutes. Then when she open the window she was very rude . I don’t know her name but it was the older white lady . The other 3 Mexicans just ignored me. This is not a race thing . This is me describing who was working . I told the lady “ hey , I’ve been waiting for a while “ . She cut me off and said well she was outside and came into to 5 customers.
