Rodeway Inn Beaumont 1-10 — Hotel in Beaumont

The person who checked me in, I believe his name is Martin misrepresented questions that I asked specifically about check-in times. I asked if there were smoking on the property, he stated yes. The first thing I saw as I entered, the premises was a big sign that says this is a non-smoking property. I asked what time is breakfast was to be served from and until what time did it ? and at that time I was informed that. no breakfast was to be served on the Property. Also, I asked for a quiet room. He said he would give me the quietest room which was room number 17, which was less than a quarter mile away from the freeway, which was very noisy so this is why I only stayed one day and not the two days I initially asked for I packed up everything by 10:45 AM and left the property. The night staff was friendly. Sadly the day staff was barely functional. Breakfast ran out early my oldest kid who wanted juice and eggs called on staff. The hotel staff came out of the back room and was clearly napping told them there were no more eggs and the juice machine has been broken. The room was VERY outdated and some of the towels we were given were still DIRTY!! The fridge that was advertised in the room was actually a wine cooler so our drinks were cool not cold. There were only a few plugs so we had to take turns charging our electronics. The room phone didn't work so I had to look up the hotel number and call the front desk from my cell. Front desk person was nice but clearly did not want to be here. Door had a gap at the bottom to where light showed through. No safety lock on door. Only one light worked in the room. Curtains would not close all the way. No fire alarm. The freezer portion of the refrigerator was rusted. There was literally sticky "goo" under the microwave. Headboards had dust on them. No bedside lamps and no outlet plugs available close to bed (needed for a essential medical device). Found a hair on the blow dryer, and toilet was not installed properly. TV keeps loosing signal and remote does not work. (To turn tv on or to change the volume). Too bad pictures can not be upload because I would, but they will be sent to corporate as this is a branded hotel and it should look/be ran as such.
