During checkin, attendant did not want to except my Illinois state ID. I repeatedly explained to him that I do not have a drivers license and that this state ID is exactly the same thing. I asked if he wanted to see another form of ID like a passport to prove I was who I am. He then proceeded to scan my passport into their new system. He finally made my keys and then walked us up to my room. Upon arriving to the room he manually unlocked the door, I just figured it was to initially open the room to me and that my card would work after that. I was wrong. For all four nights I fought the door. My girlfriend and I had our keys remade over a dozen times. They tried to explain to me that someone must have spilt something on the lock. I literally stood and swiped the card well over 50 times on several occasions before the door opened. One of these times was when I went to the front desk after my key wouldn't work again, and asked him to come up and manually let me in. I walked back and started swiping the card repeatedly while waiting and it finally opened. It was at this time that I realized that the housekeepers had only prepared the room with one bath towel and a wash cloth, even though my reservation was for two people for all four nights. About 25 mins later there was a knock on the door and it was the guy who finally made it up "to let us in". It was at this time that I requested another towel. He told me that he was not able to give me one and I'd have to ask in the morning. This seemed odd. I told him that was not going to work because I needed the towel in the morning. He insisted that I would have to go down in the morning to request one. I asked what time In The morning I would have to wait till before I could get another gosh darn towel for my room. 7AM was his answer!! I told him I would be at work in downtown LA by then and that again that this was completely unacceptable. I need the towels tonight. There is absolutely no reason that two people should have to share one, very small, bath towel! He then had me follow him to the laundry room to get one. After handing me a floor mat with hole in it, I just went over to the dryer and dug one out myself. Upon checking out there was no attendant. There was a guy on his cell phone in the lobby that said he was in the shower and to come back. I tried calling the hotel and ringing the bell for 15min before just leaving. Half way to LA he finally answered, just to lie to me and insist he was there...
Read moreThe place is getting renovated so it's a bit of a mess. But, who cares, as long as the rooms are good, right? Hadn't had many reviews so couldn't be that bad... ||||We stay in Motel 6's all the time because they are pet friendly and this is the worst one we've been in.||||There was something wrong with our first room, so the receptionist moved us to another room before we even checked it. Seemed good; I was glad she was astute enough to find a problem and I guess she was being helpful? After that, I never saw her NOT on the phone. Next room was a newly renovated room: the bathroom door handle came off in our hand, the inside of the door had dog foot prints on it (not that we cared, but it was still dirty), the freezer of the mini fridge had so much ice in it that the door wouldn't close, leaving puddles of water on the floor, the pillows were very old and stained, there were no washcloths and only 1 towel, 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no free wifi as I anticipated as per the website, the garbage cans by the staircases weren't cleaned out for a loooong time, the parking lot could barely accommodate the cars of guests etc. ||||Plus, the neighborhood was questionable and I didn't appreciate being gawked at by the guests on the floor below us as I walked my dog (not the motel's fault, but it just compounded the issue). ||||Only plus? Best water pressure we've had our...

Do your self a favor and just don't stay here you will have to much to...
