El Pescador Restaurant — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. FOOD WAS AVERAGE AND NOT WORTH AT ALL THE TIME WE WAITED. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE TO DINE. To explain in detail, I flew my parents from Mexico recently and invited them here with my sister and her husband as well. I also recently finished my service with the military and looked forward to this time with my parents. When we first arrived, we were told it would take 45 minutes. 45 minutes went by, and nothing. An hour went by, and still nothing. An hour and 20 min went by, and my sister's husband went to complain to the manager about why why couldn't be seated yet. He saved face my giving all five of us free drinks on the house, except for one. HE WAS NOT CLEAR TO MY SISTER'S HUSBAND ABOUT HOW THE DRINK HE WANTED (MARGARITA) WOULD NOT BE FREE. When I received the check to pay for everyone, they did, IN FACT, CHARGE US FOR THE MARGARITA. We were seated after about 2 hours of arriving. We were all just tired of all the mistakes and sub par service and did not want to clear up this discrepancy. However, the servers were not to blame, but those workers mainly involved in seating customers were on their phones at times and not as involved in the job as all the bussers and waiters. Overall, the food was average and not even close to being worth the 2HR wait. I made sure to tip 0 when I paid because after waiting for 2 hrs to wait, should anyone really tip if the food turns put to be really good? Lmao

In summary, I wish my review could have been 0 stars, the servers and waiters were NOT to blame, ONLY THE MANAGEMENT AND SCHEDULING WORKERS WHO DID NOT TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO GET CREATIVE AND SEAT US QUICKER, even with still complying with Covid19 Guidelines and worst of all, being forced to pay my Sister's husband's drink when the Manager offered him one for free, but DID NOT MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THAT PARTICULAR DRINK WOULD NOT BE FREE.

I urge everyone to not ever, Eeeeeeeever... come to this place to eat with family. YOU WILL WAIT A DARN LONG TIME FOR AVERAGE FOOD. IF YOU TAKE A PARTY OF 5 OR MORE, YOU WILL BE FORCED TO WAIT LONGER BECAUSE OF THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF TABLES TO SEAT 5 OR MORE PEOPLE. WHY NOT JIST JOIN THE TABLESBNOT BEING USED AND JOIN THEM UP TO COMPLY WITH COVID REGS RATHER THAN JUST HAVE MANAGEMENT TWIDDLE THEIR THUMBS AND WONDER WHY CUSTOMERS LEAVE? LOL One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had and worse that my parents had to wait so long after I flew them...

This is my first time at El Pescador restaurant in Bell Gardens my wife have here at this location many time. El Pescador restaurant is very popular restaurant and many locations in L.A. and others area they are well know for their seafood dishes and especially their Margarita drinks. My wife tells me the food is really good I need to find out about the restaurant. My wife order a combination plate with two item she pick the chili renello and enchiladas also come with rice and beans also come with a soup.

I decided to order to get the chili renello burrito. I love chili renello very much no matter comes in a combination wet style or by itself I enjoy it. The waitess brought our food my burrito was big with sour cream and guacamole and a slice tomato and Mexican cheese spread on top the burrito. The chili renello was amazing good so much ingredients and flavors in one burrito incredible good. There's so much flavors I really enjoy the most from the other chili renello burrito I have eaten from other restaurants. My wife enjoy her meal very much I told her we need to come back again try different items and try...

This Restaurant Discriminates against Caucasian customers, DO NOT GO HERE!!

I visited this restaurant with my family last Saturday. My group consisted of 5 Caucasians and 1 Latina. We waited almost 2 hours to be seated. We sat there as the hostess sat Latino and Mexican groups of 7, 8, and 9 people who arrived later than us. At one point the hostess told us that they were trying to sit us but the table the came available had 7 chairs and were were 6. (Oh that makes total sense, right? ). Finally we asked to talk to a manager and we hear the hostess tell the waitress next to her: "I told you we should have never skipped those white people, now they are mad. We should have sat them a long time ago" By that time we were to disappointed and frustrated to stay so we walked and so did about 10 other people who were also waiting and witnessed what happened to us. DISCRIMINATION IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN OR STAFF SHOULD...
