Bend Rv Resort is a new Rv Park on the South end of Bend. We stopped here at the beginning of a month long trip and were so happy we did. This is a resort with lots of fun amenities. They have pickle ball courts, swimming pool hot tub, out door ping pong and other games at the Hub. Big fire pits for group gathering beside a beautiful waterfall fountain. The atmosphere is very peaceful with many baby trees growing and outstanding landscaping. Now I have heard some Rv’ers complain about the trees but let’s face it you are in Bend trees are part of the lifestyle and this parks owners own a landscaping business I am certain they will keep the trees trimmed and appropriate size for the Rv park.
We enjoyed ourselves so much here we canceled our last stop and came back here for a two week stay.
Now some of the details you all want to know. This park is immaculate. They wash and disinfect each sight after the guests leave. They have several different kinds of sites, back in and pull through - some have a paw pens and others have a gas fire pit, then some just have a picnic table. Sites are priced as expected for the amenity you choose. They do have a buddy site as well.
The bathrooms/ showers are incredibly clean. The clubhouse is amazing they have a living room area with complementary coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Then a well equipped workout room, that leads to a large family room with a giant big screen tv and fireplace with top line furniture. The laundry room is large and features a free pinball machine while you wash and dry your clothes in new very clean machines.
I sat in the family room and read a book and enjoyed the very speedy internet. I will say I did not try the internet at our site since we have Starlink it worked great, no obstructions.
Now for the cost I believe you get what you pay for and for those of you looking for a $30 per night place this is not it. They do have deals for the length of your stay and we did pay more for this place than we were planning on when we scheduled our trip but we are not complaining not disappointed. We will definitely make this an annual getaway.
Last but not least the manager and hosts that work here are so very nice and keep everyone and everything running smoothly. Thank you for a great getaway and look forward to seeing you all...
Read moreWe just rounded out two weeks at this stunning resort. We have been to numerous RV parks that claim to be a "resort", however are resort in name only and lack resort amenities. IMO, that's false advertising but is a discussion for another time. The owners of Bend RV RESORT spared no expense in their resort amenities. From the equipment in their exercise room (5k+ for the elliptical I used every day, yes, I Google Lensed to check the price); to the highly appointed furnishings in their Great Room (2 big screens, fireplace, pool table, gourmet kitchen nicer than most residential kitchens, beautiful furniture & lighting etc); the 10k+ whisper quiet robotic lawnmowers that go about their business in the dark (again, thank you Google Lens) keeping the green grass perfectly manicured; to the FIVE pickle ball courts, swimming pool, hot tub, 2 ping pong tables; and stunning waterfall feature.
We stayed in the Buddy Site with our friends which is a double site with RV doors opening towards a beautiful shared courtyard. With large table and chairs + huge gas fire pit & additional chairs. By far, the best RV sites we have had the pleasure of occupying with our RV friends and we'll be back again!
You won't find pea gravel or bark in landscape beds of this Resort but rather, rusty colored rock that perfectly matches the surrounding Deschutes County landscaping along with an abundance of well placed native trees, grasses, and shrubbery. Garbage cans, tastefully inserted into discreet are conveniently located near every site so don't bother looking for the big, ugly, green dumpsters prevalent in most RV parks.
The only thing that fell short is their designated dog area. I told my husband that my guess is the pet area is temporary and sure enough, we were told they will be improving this area at some point. No points deducted for this small imperfection.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bend RV Resort and look forward to our...
Read moreResort just opened in November, so everything is brand new. The resort amenities were amazing-pickleball, pool, games, coffee bar, work area, store, laundry room-all awesome!! Loved that we could use a card or Apple Pay to use laundry room, made it so easy. Many of the sites already have gas fire pits so it was nice not to have to set up our own. Some sites have do enclosures as well if you have a pet with you.
Loved that the bathrooms were private and self enclosed with toilet/sink/shower all to yourself. I will say that they did end up having a line sometimes where we were located, but they have additional bathroom/shower units at the main office. I just don’t know if those are open after hours or not.
3 things kept it from getting 5 stars from me 1) Shade, there is not much of it, probably being. a new resort the trees will just take time to grow. Landscaping was nice and well maintained, but got pretty hot during the day 2) it’s right next to the main highway in Bend, so you do have some road noise and the occasional driver who likes to honk their horn or rev their engine as they’re driving by 3) There is a path between the fence around the property and the highway. On our stay, the homeless frequented that path, and one of the other campers had their e-bike stolen in the night. Now, the bike wasn’t locked up, but very easy for someone to jump the fence and rummage through a campsite. I’d recommend a solid wall that is higher be considered for the campers on that side of the property (office and main building is on other side of property)
Overall beautiful place with great amenities, I would stay here again as a home base for Bend, OR activities. Definitely would request a site closer to the office side of the property and not near the highway side...
