*blank stare* I don’t even know where to start… Guess I’ll start by saying, YUCK! This is a terrible hotel. I did not enjoy my stay at all. Front desk not friendly; maintenance man talks about hotel and staff. Front desk staff would rather talk loudly with coworkers, or flirt with security. Security stares you up and down without a simple greeting. The elevators were outdated, dirty and had an odor. The room smelled old and like mildew. None of the outlets worked – with the exception of one. The toilet was loud and obnoxious with every flush. The air appeared to work, but the room never got cold. The telephone in the room didn’t work, had to use my cell phone to call down to the front desk. Bathroom towels had stains on them, bathroom floor had long hair strands scattered about. A lot of dirty, rusty surfaces in the bathroom – mainly shower. The TV remote was sticky. I could hear everything the guests upstairs from me were doing, which was very nerve wrecking. The building is NOT fully handicapped friendly… this has to be a building code violation. The building has all the buttons to press, but they don’t work. I literally struggled to get around the building due to the inconvenience. The revolving door is out of commission. So, imagine my struggle being on crutches and having to deal with this hotel’s inadvertent inaccessibility. I will never stay here again, I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. I wouldn’t even want my dog to stay here a night. If I could give this place NO STARS, I would. I know this building has a few health code/building violations. I’m almost 100% confident. I do a lot of traveling, so I have my share of staying in hotels. And this one IS one of the worst. You’ve been warned. Stay at your OWN risk. Or don’t, the decision is ultimately yours. Yuck!

This is easily the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at in 40 years of staying in hotels. There’s not a single ice machine in the building, apparently, and everything in our room was dingy and broken. Each of the two beds in our room were no larger than singles:twins, and while I know this is a trend among hotels to offer beds that are smaller than the description one would normally associate with a certain size of bed, these seemed even smaller than that. The electrical outlets are very poorly located for guest use for charging/etc, but even with that hassle already, there was not a single outlet in our room that wasn’t loose and allowing cords to fall out—including the bedside lamp where I hoped I could plug in my CPAP machine, but noooope. Had to sleep ON THE COUCH because of the lack of outlets by the bed. None of the USB ports in the outlets worked-literally none of them. We had hoped a microwave would be available in the room, but nope, no microwave either. Air conditioning in our room was completely broken—it “ran” but almost no air movement at all and zero coolness, causing us to rely on a fan we found in the closet, which I would now guess is there because they know the air conditioning is broken. Our room was hotter than the hallway our entire stay, and we were uncomfortably sweating the entire time we were there. The room was filled with the droning and buzzing of the broken AC and the fan we had to use the entire time—annoying when merely in the room, but especially so when trying to sleep. Completely unacceptable. No amount of adjustment to the thermostat made any difference whatsoever. And worst of all, when we brought this to the attention of the front desk when we were departing, the man there, I believe his name was Kenneth?, was completely indifferent to what we had to say. I’ll add here that we are also Hilton Honors members, but apparently that makes zero difference to anyone at this location. The only thing we got a reaction about from him was the fact that we had left our key card in our room instead of returning it to him because we were checking out. It was the only thing he seemed to care at all about; certainly not at all about how awful our stay was. He seemed to indicate indirectly at one point in our conversation that air-conditioning is a problem in the hotel. We spent two nights there, and were very busy, we were visiting our child who is attending university in Minneapolis, and did not have any time to address this during our stay, but only at the end. I’ve stayed at roadside motels with better accommodations. The complete lack of ice anywhere in the building, except for the bar is ridiculous. The complete lack of functioning air conditioning, also ridiculous, judging from the look of the vent that was only held on the wall by a single screw and completely skewed in the wall like it’s been pulled off multiple times for various reasons, there is no way staff did not know that this was broken. It seems like they don’t care, I don’t think I will stay at this location ever again. And we come to Minneapolis pretty often to visit our university student. I would not recommend this location to anyone. This was not a cheap stay, either, and our trust in Hilton is damaged by this. What a waste of money. Avoid...

It's a Good looking Hotel The accomodations are 50/50. The temperature in the hotel was really cold. The lobby was cold, front desk area cold, the elevators & getting to our rooms very cold temps. Come to find out there wasn't any HEAT through out the whole building of the hotel. I found out when I called the front desk to mention that it wasn't getting any warmer in our room. After I turned the heat on and waited close to an hour. This was only to be sure that it wasn't impatience because of being cold & it's the dead of Winter ❄️ I called front desk & complained about the loss of heat w/cold air 🥶 flowing thru my room, while the thermostat was reading °76. Well It just so happened that three weeks ago in Minneapolis MN, there had been a Heatwave surge very unusual for this time of year. Being °90 through out the city. The Hilton Hotel had outrageous temperatures through out the Hotel. The owner took it upon himself to have the heat turned off (good call) and keep the Air Conditioning on through the Hilton Hotel. My daughter & my granddaughters went to the Mall of America, so to unwind a bit & see some of the attractions there. It was a good idea because of the cold temperatures that were fluctuating in our room. It was around 7:30pm and the temperature outside in realtime was a blustery °30 degrees. The owners had turned off the heat alright, but they hadn't turned off the air-conditioning. So this is the reason why the temperature was so cold. Come to find out from the maintenance person whom had delivered the space heater to keep the room warm. He basically told me that It all boils down to the nitty gritty amount of $$$$! "EITHER" the Heat or Air conditioning could be Turned on "but" not both?!?! "HUH"!! "What"! "Wait"! Why not? It's an older building so the accomodations for comfortable a temperature was one or the other. It's too costly to put in a up-to-date heating & cooling system, it just wasn't a good thing for the $$$ owners. Especially if they could just leave the air temperature & furnace alone. With🤔 considering what the weather was like outside during certain seasons.😧😲 I'm letting you know what I was informed about the temperature situation with keeping warm. I could use one of their space heaters and go that route or. . . go to another hotel. It was too cold outside and to darn late to have to take my grandbabies back outside to hunt down another Hotel. Plus we had made reservations at this Hotel in the 1st place. Such a disappointment & quite a comfort disaster, but that's just my what we encountered with our stay there. Now I'm sure not all Hiltons are like this older building but surely have got to be much, much Nicer than this one. They should change the name of the Hotel because I'm sure the Hiltons wouldn't accept or appreciate let alone approve of their name on this building considering these accomodations that...

As I just recently checked out of this hotel after being there 3 days I think I have enough to review about. First and foremost the breakfast was perfect! It was your typical hotel breakfast but for some odd reason the food was great!! The French toast and sausage links were to die for! The guest services were beyond nice and catered to our needs. Now the room. I was on the 10th floor with a parking lot and river view. I think I had a great view! It was pretty cold when I arrived Thursday and decided to turn the heat up and go out for a while so the room could warm up. I came back and my room was still cold. I turned the heat up to 90 and waited...still cold. I turned it on and off several times and still nothing changed. I decided to call down stairs with my problem she told me that she couldn't control the heat for that time of year... I thought that was odd to say. So again I tried to mess with the heat and leave. On my way out I told the front desk about my heat issue. I leave and come back and check on the status of the heat she told me she JUST sent maintenance to my room. I figured they should be there before me. I get to my room thinking someone would be inside working...they weren't. Again I went downstairs to complain by this time she told me she could give me a heater for the room?! A heater??!! I was beyond mad! How do you give a paying customer a heater? Where is your heat? I was unable to control my heat in my own room. The fridge was no where near cold and had no way for me to turn it up. The fridge decided to leak after day 2. There was no microwave in the room. The bathroom was beyond small and honestly the bed was too soft for my taste. I woke up hurting my whole trip and don't get me started on the noise. Everyone morning like clockwork you could hear someone tapping or working next door. I tried to sleep every morning past 9 and couldn't due to the noise. There are NO ice machines. I walked my whole floor, 2nd and 4th floor before going to the front desk asking where the machines were only to be told they don't have any and I would have to request that. I never heard of such craziness. My commute from airport to hotel was the worst. My flight landed around 8am and I was in place for pick up. I stayed at the airport for almost an hr and a half! I called 3 times and spoke to 2 different ladies and 5 automated messages just to be told the same thing. It runs between this & that. Every 15 mins and 45 mins. My ride came after 9 and once he did he was like a bat out of hell with his driving! I was scared!! I honestly wouldn't recommend or stay at this particular hotel on my next visit. I do believe this place could be a lot better if they made the...
