We were lucky to find a budget-friendly stay in the area with my service dog and the lady that helped us check in was an angel in disguise. However everything went downhill afterwards. The room we were given felt damp and had a weird humid smell to it. The shower wasn’t fully cleaned and had scrapes all over it. We stayed here for a week and never got more towels or room service. Then on day 2 I get a call to the room at 7am that there was a payment errror. I came down rather immediately to make the adjustment and the lady thanked me. Okay we’re moving on. On checkout date I try to extend the stay an extra week and to my surprise my card gets declined despite just getting paid. I come to find out that the hotel took it upon itself to charge me an ADDITIONAL $308 to my account to just then process a refund that would take 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS. The guy at the desk was MAULIK. When I respectfully expressed my frustration with the situation and explained some people would make a lawsuit for using my card without my knowledge or consent, Maulik proceeded to YANK the receipt from my hands. It was done in the receptionist desk so definitely can be seen ON CAMERA. I told him that was unreasonable and completely disrespectful. I reiterated because they took away an extra $300 from my account I now no longer have the funds needed for the full extension. His response was simply “it’s not my fault you don’t have enough funds. You’ll get refund in 3-5 days”. There was no use in arguing it was 6am and I just wanted to extend the stay to be able to sleep in since I had just worked the previous night. However, even though you can still book online Maulik stated I couldn’t extend because they were “full to capacity”. Mind you the parking lot is not even half full and I’ve barely seen 3-4 different people in the last 3 days. This has felt like the worst customer experience I’ve experienced in a while filled with embarrassment and unprofessionalism. We are not going to...
Read moreIf I could i would give this hotel zero stars. Actually I wouldn't even call this place a hotel I would call it a dump. The room was dirty. Pulled the sheets back after lysoling everything down and had blood on the sheets and hair all over both beds. Went down to complain and man at the counter just handed us sheets and said we have to change it ourselves since the maids are gone . I wonder if the people hired to clean here after people leave actually do their job. But from how i see it they just tuck the sheets back in and put the bed back together and thats it. The air conditioner after turning on when arriving into room won't turn off. It keeps running and temperature keeps dropping on thermostats automatically. My son, parents and I froze all night and still continuously. Went down for breakfast and the server bringing stuff out for breakfast said move get out of my way to this older couple putting stuff on there plate. That was very rude and uncalled for. The bathroom was horrible the toilet seat was broken and cracks all in and around the toilet. Have spoken to other families and one family had to change rooms 3 times. The first room on the 3rd floor flooded after a heavy rain and the carpets were squishy, second room was disgusting had stuff under The sheets in the bed and when they turned the air conditioner on they said it sounded like a freight train and by the 3rd room they were pissed and just stayed the night since they also had a little one. Thats just one family just picture i spoke with people at breakfast for a few hours and they were all dissapointed with this place and also called this a dump. The worst part is on the sign out front it says newly renovated rooms. That is definitely wrong. This hotel needs a sanitation person along with other people to have this...
Read moreStayed 9/13/2013 arriving at 7:30 am. I asked to book in earlier than the regular time and payed a lot less than other hotels down the area had asked for booking in early but it was well worth it. I had not stayed at a hotel where they make you feel welcomed from the moment you stepped into their lobby in a very long time. First things when you go to a Hotel is they will do anything to get you to stay and then you are on your own. But these guys working there... WOW I cant complain a bit of all they did to make me feel at home. They did have a decent continental breakfast, including eggs and sausages kept nice and hot, bagels and bread to toast, plenty of fruit, and pastries and great coffee. Not stale as I've had in other hotels in the past. The room was excellent the room had no mold smell like most hotels have, I requested a room with a Jacuzzi to relax. In other hotels I have had to request at least %60 of the time for the Jacuzzi to be re-cleaned due to hair or soap residues. Here I didn't have to do so. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. The bed was nice and clean no hair on the sheets or signs of use from prior customers. I seen the cleaning lady a couple of times while I was in and out of the room and seen her while I passed by and she had actually changed the bed spreads on at least 3 rooms so far before I took off to do some shopping. I was amazed for such dedication. I am already making plans for another trip in a few weeks to stop by this nice Irish Restaurant up the road like 3 mins away and come back by summer time to relax and enjoy the pool side by the summer days of 2014. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a great night at a...
