I would like to say that this hotel has been one of my top hotels for this year, and that says a lot considering that I travel 90% of the year. I have been here at this hotel for 2+ months so far, started July 6th and will be checking out at the end of October.
The hotel is very quiet, I am spending 3/4 of my time here working overnights and I have no problem sleeping during the day. The cleaning staff is quite and it is very difficult to hear anything from neighboring rooms. The hotel is about a half mile down right off the highway exit so it is super quick to get out the interstate but not hear the road noise
The hotel has been very clean and the room i am in is in great shape. Full kitchen, with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and dishwasher (they even provide you dishwasher detergent). The bathroom looks new as well with granite on the counter tops as well.
The best part about the staying here is the service. Every single Employee I run into is nice and pretty much all of them remember my name. I don't go to the front desk for much, just a package every now and then, and sometimes for the breakfast or dinner. But every time I stop by at the desk they all seem to know my name, makes you feel welcome. The manager here is just fantastic to work with. She even offered for to have the people who manage the internet call me when I was free in my room to setup my devices so I didn't have to log in every day. They called me right on schedule. I have never had a manger ever come through like this, usually they just give you a number to call.
I don't stop down for the free food very often just do to my work schedule, but this just like most residence inns with free breakfast and free dinner Monday to Wednesday. The one really nice thing is that they do offer one of the great local beer's (Redhook) which is brewed only a couple miles away in Woodinville. The only thing they need to do next is maybe bring in some of Woodinville Whiskey in for the meals ;) .
Lastly, not everything can be perfect everywhere, although this hotel is pretty close. The one down side is the laundry. They do have laundry onsite, but it is not free and there is only 3 washers and 3 dryers. It was fun trying to squeeze in a load during the summertime busy season, there was one week where I couldn't get in till my third day trying. But once I switched to a overnight schedule There was no issue getting...
Read moreThis hotel is under massive renovations. We stayed during a holiday weekend so it did not bother us too much. The ADA requirements for the rooms need to be reviewed. Our bed was far too low for a wheelchair transfer especially due to how soft the bed was. I spent more time on the sofa (without bed opened) as it was more comfortable than the bed and getting in/out. The 1 bedroom suites - the bedroom does not have a turn radius in it. There is a VERY nice washroom though! One funny thing that happened - I guess they have been painting the door frames and some idiot closed the door to our accessible suite before it was dry. The doors for these suites are supposed to be easy to open. We had to tackle the door and exert a lot of pressure on it just to get it open the 1st night. Since then it was easier to open but not the ease that it should be. I suggest stripping the paint away and starting over in the frame. While chatting about ADA concerns - when you leave rooms 111/112 and go to the left down the sidewalk to the main building it would be nice to have a curb cut there and not way around to the next building. When walking to the main building you NEED TO flatten the nasty edge bumps (not speed bumps) that are present to get up on the tiles to the door and then work on the door or have a door opener installed (preferred) as it is very difficult to get into and out of the building. I was VERY disappointed with the breakfast and pantry items. Not sure what was going on with their orders or why someone just did not go out to the store, however I found it very irritating to be constantly told that "the order did not come in". As part of the Marriott program I get a free pantry item. There was nothing to chose from! At breakfast I am used to having either gluten free toast or bagel provided. Other Marriotts in the area provide them including Residence's There was no cut fruit / yougurt or syrup for my husband waffles. There was chocolate milk one day and none for the next 3 days. Very spotty service. The best thing about this hotel was the fireplace. Other than that I will not...
Read moreI really liked this hotel but there was only a few problems with my room. I booked a suit for my brother, mom, and uncle. My room number was 728. My mom and I shared the left room and my uncle had the right room. My brother was on the sofa bed. The first night when I came back to the hotel I went to my room to wash my hand when I saw three bugs that looked like fruit flies. I don't mind little bugs but I thought since my room was a suit, room service would do a better job cleaning my room. I called the front desk and they were super friendly and told me that they would send someone to my room immediatly. I gave them a little more time to get to my room because my room was about about 2 minuets away from the lobby. When they came the room service just got a clean towel and use water to wipe the sink and under the sink. But the next day the bugs came back. I disn't bother to call room service because I knew that they would do the same as the day before. Also the other con is that on the second night ( I only stayed 2 nights) my brother woke up from a loud and disturbing noise. We thought it was the heater but it was actually the fridge. Also when I first flushed the toliet the noise almost gave me a heart attackand the shower got slightly flooded really easily. But it was still disgusting. The good things are my uncle's room was perfect, the fridge is big, the kitchen is a good size, the room service will wash your dishes for you and there is a complimentary popcorn that you can microwave. There is also a coffee maker, silverware and eatting vessels. The table is a good size and the desk has a rolling chair. The breakfeast was very good. I like the self make waffels the best. I gave them a three star because there was only a few problems that are just reality but the only problems that I really cared about is the bugs and the fridge. Also they tried their best. THEIR WAFFLES ARE REALLY GOOD FOR...
