Attention: Please be advised to carefully consider the reviews concerning this particular Omni location. The consistency of negative feedback regarding its appearance, cleanliness, hospitality, food quality, pricing practices, communication, and unresolved overcharging issues suggests a pattern of dissatisfaction experienced by patrons. I recommend exercising caution to avoid potential unfavorable experiences at this establishment. Following a series of surgeries due to an accident, my husband kindly arranged a spa membership at the Omni in an effort to alleviate some of my ongoing pain. Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a regretful one. The Initial Touchpoint • My husband's debit card details, which were transcribed onto a physical piece of paper, presents a serious PII data security concern. If more sophisticated safeguards are not in place by 2024, it indicates broader systemic vulnerabilities that need urgent attention. The Scheduling • My husband registered for a membership on May 1st, 2024, but I couldn't schedule my first spa appointment until June. I visited the spa in person and could only secure an appointment for June 23rd, 2024 due to their limited schedule. The First Membership Visit • The hotel and spa are outdated and lack vitality, and the spa's bathroom amenities were empty. • During my recent visit to the pool area, I encountered several issues that negatively impacted my experience. Despite the initial positive impression of the pool area, I observed a lack of seating and limited umbrellas, as well as an apparent understaffing problem. While seated, I noticed that other guests were promptly served, while we were left unattended. Consequently, I approached the bar to order drinks and left my debit card on file. However, despite my efforts, I received no service when attempting to order food. After placing an order for guacamole and chips, I was informed that the order would be delivered to the pool area. Regrettably, after waiting for an hour and a half, I returned to the bar, expressing my dissatisfaction at not receiving the order and requesting to settle the tab, with the exclusion of the undelivered food. I encountered further disappointment when the staff member presented the previously unfulfilled food order, which had been left in the sun for an extended period and thre it on the bar and said hers your food. I declined due to concerns about food safety, and requested again that it be removed from the bill. Following this, I inquired about applying my spa membership benefits, specifically a discount on food and beverages, to which the staff member dismissively refuted the existence of such discounts, contradicting the privileges outlined in the spa membership. The interaction culminated in the staff member's dismissive attitude and condescending response, prompting me to swiftly settle the bill and depart the premises, deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience. • Several days later, my debit card was charged three times by Omni pool, totaling approximately $80 for the purchase of two drinks. The Communication • I spent four days trying to contact the manager of a specific establishment about unauthorized charges on my debit card and a bad experience. I had trouble reaching anyone by phone and only managed to leave a voicemail and a direct message, but never got a call back. • On June 30, 2024, I sent an email to cancel my membership. Despite receiving confirmation that Monrovia Reykjavik opened the email, I haven't been contacted yet. I hereby instruct the Omni to immediately cancel my membership and refrain from processing any electronic payments from my accounts. Failure to comply with this request will result in reporting to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). I am compelled to personally visit the establishment to convey in person the immediate cancellation of this subpar membership and to cease any unjust charges...

From john
Dear Omni Hotel Management,
I hope this letter finds you well, although I must express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience regarding my deposit refund.
It is incredibly disheartening to witness a hotel that profits immensely, likely making millions each year, treating its customers with such disregard. The expectation that a simple deposit return would be met with inconvenience is not only disappointing but also quite frankly, inappropriate. As a customer, I assumed that your establishment, known for its hospitality, would prioritize customer service above all else.
It is bewildering to think that a hotel of your stature would consider returning a deposit to be a burden. It feels as though the very essence of customer care has been lost in the pursuit of profit. As a paying customer, I believe it should be your utmost priority to ensure that our needs are met promptly and respectfully.
I urge you to reconsider your policies and practices regarding deposit refunds. A little humanity in your customer service approach could go a long way in retaining loyal patrons.
I hope to see a more customer-centric attitude from your establishment in the future.
Sincerely, Johns
I recently attempted to book a wedding at the Omni Hotel, and I must express my utter disappointment with the experience. From the outset, it became clear that their customer service was severely lacking. After facing some medical issues, I had to cancel my plans and pleaded for my deposit back. Instead of receiving understanding and support, I was treated poorly—almost like I was begging like a dog for something they were obligated to return.
The staff seemed more interested in arguing than helping, which made the entire situation even more frustrating. To add insult to injury, the contract I signed clearly stated that I was entitled to half of my deposit back upon cancellation. However, they are now trying to claim that I owe them more money and that the deposit is non-refundable, despite them providing no services.
This level of unprofessionalism is shocking and unacceptable. My experience with the Omni Hotel has been one of the worst customer service interactions I’ve ever encountered. I would strongly advise anyone considering this venue for their special day to look elsewhere, as there are certainly better options that will treat you with the respect and professionalism...
Read moreI recently spent 2 nights here for a conference, and I enjoyed myself a lot.
I didn't care for the initial room we were given as the service elevator was right beside it and it was noisy. After realizing that, I went to the front desk to see if there were any other options available to us and was immediately offered two other types of rooms. One offer was for the 10th floor, which is a special level...I don't recall what it was referred to as, but it was across from a service elevator, so despite being offered a no-charge upgrade, I declined and selected a regular room on the 6th floor, with mountain views.
A big thank you to Skyler for assisting with this, and for assisting me to move our belongings from one room to the other, it was greatly appreciated!
The facility is lovely, with beautiful furnishings throughout, great pools, hot tub and fire pits, all of which I enjoyed - aside from the unattended children incestantantly jumping from the hot tub to the pool, and throwing a football from one end of the pool to the other, hitting those in chairs by the pool......parents, please remember that others do not love YOUR children as much as you do and supervising them, especially around water, is your job, and should not be left to others....please put your phones down and have fun WITH them!
All of the staff, from front desk, to Servers in "The Shep" restaurant onsite, to housekeeping, to poolside food and beverage servers, to poolside attendants who provided towels and kept the pool and washroom facilities clean, were extremely polite and demonstrated great customer service!
Our room had a small balcony, and we enjoyed a romantic time, watching the amazing sunset over the distant mountains, while wearing very comfy hotel robes. I appreciated the 2 complimentary bottles of water, however, one of them was open and was 1/3 gone. We used the small fridge and coffee maker.
We enjoyed drinks by one of the firepits, very comfy and cozy. I saw lots of ceiling heaters in the covered patio area where some of the fire pits are for when it's cold.
Lunch at the restaurant was great, and I will review that separately.
I wasn't a big fan of the location only because it didn't have high walkability to anything in particular, so I stayed poolside all afternoon and enjoyed myself.
Ample parking on-site, and the ability to easily charge things to room were appreciated.
Thank you for a...
