Flatz Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Broomfield

This restaurant is located inside the Renaissance hotel in Broomfield. Which we stayed at Christmas Eve. We eat there for the Christmas brunch. Nothing was very impressive, except our server mainly for the point she was working an over priced Buffett on Christmas morning and I'm pretty sure she was the only server on duty. She stayed pleasant the entire time and was very attentive. So there literally was nothing impressive about this Buffett some of the things I always enjoying which were listed on the menu were not available like biscuits and gravy for example. Omelettes were made to order, thing is I know I didn't order mine dry with very little flavor but that is definitely what I ended up with. All the bacon was way way overdone and we were almost completely through our meal when they finally added some edible medium cooked bacon. Muffins were large and you're able to get a to go container for some but there was a very slim selection and none of them were that good. Some not worth eating at all. French toast was dry and and lacked flavor. So overall the food was okay and would have been fine if it was included with your room but it was $25 per person and definitely...

Very disappointing evening. Had reservations for 3. Arrived and was seated. Ordered 2 salads. Main courses. One salad was brought out. Told the waiter we had ordered 2. She went to retrieve the second. When she returned she brought the main courses as well. We had seen our plates of food sitting up there for a while before that so it would obviously already be cold. My father told that waitress that this is unacceptable...her response was "well merry Christmas" and turned and walked away. She took all the food with her when she left. So...we got up and left. I arrived early, even though my party had a reservation so I stopped at the coffee shop and Megan was extremely delightful to work with. She made my coffee drink and I went to the counter to see about the reservation. Even though my party had notbyet arrived the hostess seated me and made sure I had water while I waited. The breakfast food was delicious although I wasn't expecting a buffet as the only option. They ran out of bacon quickly, but tge wait to restock was not bad at all. I ordered a custok omelete that was delicious. My friend ordered a waffle that she really loved. I am gluten-free so I could not try it. The potatoes were delectable everyone at the table enjoyed them! Highly recommend if you don't mind a breakfast buffet and customized omelete made to order.
