Visiting from out of town and checked this restaurant out. Note, it doesn’t pull up on the map because it changed hands and was called Leo’s Elkhorn but they are the same place. The place inside is very clean as well as the bathrooms. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out in an appropriate time frame. We ordered spinach dip and I paid an extra 3.50 for raw veggies to dip. It was very good but pretty small although it was satisfying for both of us. The toasted garlic bread that comes with it was very tasty. We both got the Bison Huckleberry Gorgonzola burgers. They were very good but I would prefer a less cooked burger as it was a little dry. FYI got charged extra 1.50 to have the sauce on the side which I would have given a 4.5 if possible.

Good food close to our cabin. I feel like we got a decent value for our money. I got the Caesar Salad, which was good. I also got the Southwest Burger. Good flavor and size, with that I got the sweet potato fries. Our server didn't really talk a whole lot and didn't really show any expression. Other reviews mentioned understaffing but it seems like that got that figured out, which is good to see. I would probably try the pizza next time because there were a lot of options there.

Really crowded on a Monday night. I was told that was normal as that was the day East Glacier has incoming flights. We were a party of nine with kids. Ordered a variety of things. Service was very slow but the food was pretty good. Kids liked the pizza and the burgers were good as well.

I gave myself a week to cool off about our experience here but I am still bothered. We were very excited about this place, it had great reviews, and the menu looked awesome. For context, it was fairly busy (maybe 60% of tables full) and they seemed like they only had 2 or 3 servers, plus bar staff and a hostess. Our party of three was seated quickly, but waited about 20 minutes for anyone to come talk to us. We could tell they seemed understaffed, so we were patient and (unlike the table next to us) did not wave or snap our fingers to get the waiters attention. Our waiter eventually came, apologized for the wait, and took our order. We ordered garlic cheesy bread, two burgers and a bison sausage pizza. All was well. The appetizer came out quickly and it was fantastic. The pizza came out next, and it was a pepperoni instead of sausage. No big deal, we told the food runner it was supposed to be sausage and he took it back. Our burgers came out, they were pretty good, but we were still waiting on the replacement pizza. After 20 more minutes, the waiter came by and asked if there was anything else we needed, and we mentioned we were still waiting on the pizza. He seemed surprised by this, and went to go look for it. He then brought back the exact same pepperoni pizza, and we explained that she had ordered the bison sausage pizza. He said okay, and went to the kitchen to ask them to prep a bison sausage pizza, or so we thought. He then came back to ask if we wanted the bison burger to go. At this point we were extremely confused, and one member of our party had now not had any food for an hour. She decided just to have them prepare the bison burger to go, despite never actually ordering the bison burger. He apologized for mishearing her order (now twice), but then brought the bison burger out on a plate with no box. I asked if he could bring a box, since we now needed it to go as he had initially suggested. At no point were we demanding, short, or impolite. When we got the check, the iPads that they were using to check people out crashed three times. When we received the receipt, we realized the waiter had tipped himself on top of what our party had already tipped him. I understand being understaffed, and the iPad ordering systems seemed stressful and not super functional. But on top of never receiving the food we actually ordered AND paying for food we DIDN'T order, to have a server change his tip was honestly the last straw. Would...

We have been coming through here and stopping for dinner since they first opened and have always loved it. However, this weekend was the worst experience yet. To sum it up, took over 15 minutes to even get service (4 other tables in there with 3 servers, so not busy), the locals were given menus with steak etc while us tourists had a pizza/burger option only. I even asked if there was a special this weekend and the server told me no. Not sure how steak dinners can’t be for all guests? We settled on pizza that was par cooked so hard to eat without plates that were on their way a few times, so they said. The staff didn’t ask how things were or if we needed anything else…I would have loved some wine at this point. The kicker was the server actually waited for the tip and didn’t even say thank you to us. If you’re a tourist, keep driving. Little do they know, we pay taxes in the next county - so not...
