Budget Lodge Buena — Hotel in Buena

I am so upset with this hotel. The guy at the front desk was RUDE! I will never recommend my worst enemy stay here. I made a reservation on September 9th for a one night stay on September 21st. When I called the hotel to let them know that I was held up in traffic and should arrive about 7:30pm that night. The man who answered the phone ask for my name. I gave it to him and he said there is no reservation. I informed him that it has to be and offered up my confirmation number. He would not take it. I asked him why he wouldn't look it up by my confirmation number and he insisted that don't have a reservation. I then comtacted the 3rd party who administers their bookings and explained what had just happened. They contacted the hotel with my info and je told them there was no rooms once he saw my name. We made one more attempt to get a room there. I had my husband call and ask if any rooms were available and he said yes come into the hotel to book the room. We get there and show him our ID and he denies us a room again stating there were none available. My husband told him he jsut talked to him about a room. The guy then tosses my ID at me and says, "No room for you!" I was so humiliated at this point I started crying. Luckily the Roadway in was right next door. I'd give it no stars, but they don't allow 0 stars. Unfortunately, their is a HUGE language barrier. If you want to live in the U.S., then you need to speak the English language fluently. I have to flag down and find the maintenance ppl everyday just to get towels, or you will NOT get them. We've been here for a few weeks and NOT once have the sheets & comforter been changed or washed in the room that is paid for every week. The light in the bathroom blew & we keep being told either today or tomorrow. This has been since last week, still not fixed. It's dark in the bathroom. I got yelled at for suggesting another room. I was told there are no rooms available. The place is usually empty. I just walked away. The best thing about this place is the maintenance staff, even though there is a language barrier. I like them. They work & they always try and help me. Also, the convenience of this place is across the street from a wawa. Other than that, save your money & go somewhere else. Of yeah, and the plug for our microwave sparked & smoked the other day. I'm afraid our room might catch on fire soon. Stay at...

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!! I tried to post this review w/ 0 stars, but I cannot unless I give it a 1star rating.

A group of friends and I stayed at this motel for a dog training seminar. We all had dogs, which the website says the are pet friendly. They charged me $20/night for my 1 dog, another friend was charged $15/night (she has 3 dogs), another they charged $10/night and a fourth they didn't charge at all.

They go into your rooms during the day when you are not there (evidenced by them complaining to some of my friends of dog hair in the room), but don't do any type of house keeping. Instead of cleaning the rooms while you are out during the day, they wait until you arrive back at the motel to ask if you need anything. This includes towels. That's right, they don't even give you clean towels each day.

This motel and staff are in my opinion a border line scam, and definitely OVER the line in the CREEPY department.
