TLDR: clean and comfortable room, great staff, and I've had worse breakfast at "higher end" hotels before. Please remember to tip your housekeeping and breakfast staff. Definitely recommend. This is one of the better Best Western hotels that I've stayed at. I saw some reviews stating renovations undergoing at the hotel, but our room did not have any of those negative aspects. Room 235, the 1 king bedroom with tub. Sorry, I had booked it so long ago I dont recall what the room was called. We came in for the 4th of July weekend from texas. Forgot about the time change and arrived an hour before checkin. I apologized for this to the receptionist but she assured us that our room was ready. You can also let them know if you want housekeeping or not at the front desk which is nice, instead of hanging the do not disturb sign on your door. Since I had booked this a few months ago, I forgot what room I actually booked. We were surprised as we walked into this massive hotel room with a separate hot tub. The room was a little dated looking but clean. It also passed the white sock test. Try walking around your room in white socks to see what nasties they pick up whenever you go to a hotel. The shower head is at the same height as the door frame, probably more than 6ft tall. I'm not 6ft tall, but thought those taller individuals might like to know they can stand under the shower. Mattress was pretty firm but pillows soft. Couch was old looking but wasn't saggy when sitting on it. Desk was in a little corner wall. The room was quiet despite overlooking the main road. Really the only noise we had heard was our first night in and a kid running up and down the hall with what sounded like a kazoo. It wasn't late late, just while we were unpacking having come back from dinner. Water pressure was great and water heated up fast as well. Some of the outlets were a little loose but none of my plugs fell out, so no worries there. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 daily. The eggs and proteins varied day to day. We had started with cheese omlettes and bacon Friday morning, scrambled eggs and sausage links Saturday morning, scrambled eggs and sausage patties Sunday and Monday morning. I believe I saw Michelle making the scrambled eggs in the catering closet, so it's not like they were simply reheated eggs either. The waffle batter seemd thin to me but it made a wonderfully light and crispy waffle. Patti and Michelle did a wonderful job of keeping things stocked and cleaned. The fitness room wasn't too small and wasn't large, an appropriate size for the equipment they had. There was a treadmill, elliptical, and bike, small set of dumbbells, large mirror, and 3 pieces of workout equipment for chest, back, and legs. There is also a scale if you ever want to weigh yourself while on vacation. We didn't go into the pool but it looked nice. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and will probably come back.

Great stay, 4th of July weekend, and breakfast is served from 6:30 am-9:30 am. Rooms are dated but clean and functional. You have to request housekeeping which I love because it's as-needed. AC worked great, fridge was cold but no freezer unfortunately. Hot water and good water pressure. Our toilet used a lot of water to slowly flush which was unsettling but no problems arose. Our room was 235 across the laundry room. It was pretty quiet, the only noise was from a kid in the hallway with a kazoo trumpeting up and down the hall at 9 pm on Thurs. Quiet hours are 10 pm-7 am and thankfully no other disturbances occurred. Breakfast here was one of the best in many of our stays with Marriott and Hilton properties. Toast was thick cut, proteins were good, waffle mix delicious, and fresh coffee regulated out of a dispenser so it was perfect every cup. Patti and Michelle took care of us and were great at keeping food fresh and stocked when people rushed for breakfast at 6:45/7 am. Our few complaints about this hotel are the lack of a water station for drinking. We either had to fill up at breakfast through the juice machine water slot that was turned off at 9:30 am or go to the gym and fill from a 1/2 jug dispenser that wasn't regularly refilled. Please provide a water refill station for guests. The beds are firm, but not crippling. The Internet worked but you had to reconnect multiple times a day on all devices. Plug sockets in lights were too loose to hold a plug and we had to move the nightstands to access wall plugs to use chargers/cpap.

The lady I made reservations with was the best part of this nightmare. Forgot her name. She was very friendly and helpful as to local area. The night clerk literally told me to let the hot water run for 20 minutes as only one boiler was working. The bathroom was not very clean, had red mold growing in the shower/ tub area. The ceiling tiles were all in disarray. If there is remodeling going on it is fine, but the workers need to button it up at the end of the day. The two guys at the front desk in the morning were unprofessional, and Aaron? (dark longer hair) actually rolled his eyes when I canceled my second night because the hot tub was gross and it was one of the selling points when I made the reservation, is ridiculous to have to wait 20 minutes for hot water in my room and not acceptable. The outside was slick and dangerous with ice from the parking lot to the entire sidewalk. A little effort to keep customers safe, can go a long way!

The room was fine and most of the staff were very pleasant. When we check in however no one told us of their "Covid 19 Cleaning Process" where you need to leave your towels outside the door to indicate you wish to have the room cleaned. When I asked the man up front about it, as clearly I was confused the next morning, the staff member couldn't even be bothered to stand up and get off his phone before insisting that he himself told us last night about this policy despite the fact that he wasn't even the one to check us in. This singular staff member is incredibly rude and, again, couldn't even bother to stand up and take a break from his phone to even try and act professional.

Other than this person, the breakfast was great and every other staff member from the hotel was courteous and pleasant. This lone staff member, however, ensures I won't ever book a suite here again if that's the kind of attitude I can expect to get from the front desk.

Edit: I wanna clarify I have no issues with the Covid policy, I totally get that and am happy to support a safe work environment for all staff. The rudeness of the lone staff member and the treatment I received from him was the issue here.

Edit 2: So after the next day, I put my towels outside the room as I was instructed by the rude front desk guy and came back to a still dirty room. When I asked about this again, the lady (someone I have yet to see before) at the front proceeds to tell me that not only was the room going to be uncleaned but unless you are staying over 7 nights then there was no turn down service due to being short staffed. This now 100% proves 1) the rude front desk man was lying when he said he told us of this "covid cleaning process" as that's not even how it works and 2) that this hotel and its staff aren't communicating with anyone and false information is given out as fact from anyone who happens to be there. This is completely unacceptable and had I known this I would have just gotten a different room. For the price I paid, this is absolutely unacceptable, especially when no one gave us the right information till the last night we stayed here (a 4 day/3 night stay) in a "suite" that won't ever be cleaned. I get being short staffed, but this information should be listed on the website as well as given to all guests at the start of their stay. This was a complete...

We stayed two nights two weeks ago. My daughter and I. To start we were 3weeks and 15 minutes early at check in. I booked the wrong dates. The staff were so understanding and helpful in accommodating the change for us. (*We booked direct through BW and they happened to have available room) That is not to say that several staff members didn't have to go out of their way to help get a room ready. They all seemed genuinely happy to help. In fact every staff member we encountered on our stay was. The weather however was less accommodating so, we ended up staying at the hotel most of those two days. Although a little dated the room was as clean as it could be. The sheets (which I did inspect immediately upon entry) were fresh and clean. They did seem to be starting to renovate rooms while we were there. Some COVID proto calls are still in place here so when you check in you specify if you want full service room keep. Other wise they don't enter your room untill check out. You may ask to have partial (towel and trash) or full. The sweetest ladies serving the FREE continental breakfast were great! Typical fare; Juice, coffee, tea, cocoa, milk, cereal, toast, muffins, danish, maybe bagels, also fruit and yogurt. Hot station eggs, sausage, potatoes. Don't forget the waffle maker! My personal fav. Area was kept very tidy and clean. Some vending machines with snacks and soda. Wish there was popcorn in there though😉. Work out room seemed emaculant and spacious, has all the usuals. The pool and hot tub are indoors (thank God) w/ a sauna. There is even an open shower the rinse. There is a picnic table and a gazebo on site, however I did not visit. I don't remember if there was laundry available either, 😔. Anyway we enjoyed our stay very much dispite the rain. The only thing negative I could list is the pool and hot tub water were less than disirable which I attribute to needing updating it wasn't horrible. The pool house needs work but functional. Thanks for helping us make the best of our stay to...
