I stayed here nye because my boyfriend is working in the area. When I arrived there was no bathtub in my bathroom. Only a shower that is open on one end. This led to a very chilly shower. As I was in the shower I looked over to the toilet bowl and there were blood drops on the side of the bowl, which I wiped off with the provided makeup remover towlette. Further adding to the dissapointment of the stay there is no continental breakfast. Only a starbucks-esque restaurant where all items are a la carte and expensive. There was only one packet of regular coffee next to the coffee maker (I like two). There are no vending machines--only a little "store" located next to the check-in counter. They didn't have any coca cola, which was annoying. The part of the stay that most upset me was checkout. My boyfriend was going to pay for the room, but I was told my card had already been charged and the electronic receipt would be emailed to me (I still have not received it and have NO IDEA what I was charged). The day manager at noon checkout was not-helpul and borderline rude. He also said he had no way of accepting a cash pymt for the room as there "was no register up there." I said my boyfriend wants to put the room on his card and was ignored by the manager. He was just done with us and didn't want to provide any further assistance. The pool is extremely small, so don't except a swim if anyone else is swimming. For being a hotel next to a golf course this place is "below par." TV was on the smaller side (HBO is the premium channel). The upside of the hotel:bedding comfortable and fresh, citrus flavored water in lobby (tap water disgusting), and modern decor/bright lighting. In-room toletries are by Paul Mitchell. Thermostat worked well. WiFi easy to access. Next time if I'm in the area I'm staying at the...
Read moreI hate to be the one to write a less than stellar review with all these positive reviews. We usually don't write many reviews but we felt compelled to do so here. We are as fair as we can be because we own our own small service business so we understand the value of good customer service. To be clear, the hotel was very nice. The people seemed nice, the accommodations were clean and overall we had a decent stay. The one major thing that brings this review down is that we were traveling and had booked this stay anticipating stopping around midnight or 1am. We have twin 2 yr old daughters and had requested pack and plays/cribs to be there. We had made this clear that above all we would like them set up knowing it was late and it was important our daughters continue to sleep. They were not set up upon arrival. The staff promptly brought them to us, but it was too late, our daughters were up and they struggled to sleep the rest of the night and so did we. What made it worse was when we requested to speak to the manager the next morning, we were told that individual was not in and they would have to call us to discuss. We just wanted to speak to someone and leave feedback. We are not even looking for a refund or anything. We were assured that person would call us Monday morning, the latest. It is now over a week and we have not heard a thing. Very disappointing. Has customer service disappeared that much that we can no longer get a return phone call. Is that how much this hotel cares in the end? If had the audacity to do that to one of my clients, I would be...
Read moreDon't expect to have anything returned to you if you happen to leave something behind. My husband stayed here for a business trip back in Feb and left behind his Garmin Venu 3 watch. He called as soon as he realized he left it charging and received confirmation that the watch was found and placed in a box for shipping home. He paid for the shipping label and received a confirmation email. Weeks went by and no watch. We went back and forth emailing and calling getting different stories about how the package was picked up by the USPS not the UPS and that rest assured we'd still see the package. Then a week later the story changed to say the USPS had no record (and neither did UPS) of a package being picked up. We asked for security footage to be checked but the footage was "lost". We were then told by the manager, Faith, too bad this was your fault anyway for leaving the watch behind. We were sent a refund for the shipping label only. It's wonderful how a hotel chain can place blame on a customer for the mishandling of their property when the customer went through all the proper channels to have their property returned. What if this were a larger ticket item? My husband had other clients to visit and could not simply turn around to go back for the watch, hence the need for a shipping label. This is by far the worst level of customer service we've ever experienced. I have a ticket out to corporate with this complaint and if they can settle this I'll update my review. But for now this...
