Wow, we were so happy with this hotel! What a great find. It’s in an older but very well maintained building. Our room was so spacious. The beds had so many pillows! The room was also clean and well stocked with towels. It’s the little things! Also, there were free water bottles in the mini fridge in our room. How often have I stayed someplace “fancier” where they want $10 for a bottle of water?!! They also have a fridge near the lobby stocked with more and you’re welcome to help yourself. So thoughtful! Finally, the employees are all very friendly and kind. If we ever end up in that part of the country again, we’d stay at the Canton Harvester Inn in a heartbeat !

What a gem of a hotel along our travels. Being on a road trip we have stopped at random hotels along the way. The Canton Harvester is the first to offer double King beds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel decor is cute and has some Canton history. Hot breakfast is an actual hot breakfast, not just Waffles, cereal and toast like other places we've been. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

This place is truly impressive. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and we are well-traveled. The cleanliness was off the charts. We had a top floor room and enjoyed the sunset glow on the horizon. I appreciated the flags out front, particularly the Illinois flag, which is rarely seen, particularly in a hotel stay. Staff and breakfast were an A+.

Very beautiful and welcoming hotel. We got a room on the top floor with windows on two walls. I was worried about it being too bright in there at night, but it wasn’t at all. There are two king beds in each room, and I would rather have one king bed, and a little more room ( a hot tub would be super nice!) The bathroom was very big and beautiful and clean, clean enough that I decided to soak in the tub. The room was extremely clean with comfortable beds and tons of pillows to pick from. The breakfast was very good with lots of hot food. They were out of coffee, however, but of course, there was some in the room we could make a but of course, there was some in the room we could make as well. There were yummy fresh baked cookies at the desk. There was a nice looking exercise room in the basement, however, we did not use it. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it was extremely loud outside with traffic and construction and woke me up two hours earlier than I wanted to. I would definitely request a room in the back of the hotel! I am kind of surprised they are not automatically putting people back there during the construction time. None of the outside views are beautiful, so don’t worry about that issue. The hotel is right in the middle of the downtown, so there are lots of shops in...

I stayed here for a total of 7 nights over a two week period while working in Canton, and I must say I do not have one complaint about this hotel. I have stayed at an official 5 Star Hotel in the past and I would have to say by comparison this place hangs right there with that rating. The Complementary Hot Breakfast is excellent and the fresh baked cookies waiting at the door in the afternoon is a very nice touch. The staff is extremely friendly and always had a good suggestion for local dining. The rooms are bigger than most basic hotel rooms you will find elsewhere. With the 10ft. ceilings, the 2 King Sized Beds (which are extremely comfortable), and huge and very clean bathrooms, you cant ask for any better. They also have a Microwave, Large Mini Fridge, Mounted Drawer Safe, Keurig Coffee Makers complete with K-Cups, Hair Dryer, Ironing Board with Iron, Ipod/Iphone dock/alarm clock, 42 inch flat screen TV, Very fast wireless and wired Internet, and many other things to help you feel at home. I could go on and on about this place but I think you get the picture, so long story short if you are going to be staying in or near Canton Illinois I would strongly suggest you check this place out. If I find myself working here again in the future I will be staying at the Canton...

We stayed here November,2021. We were there for my Grampa’s funeral. We generally stay with family when we visit so this was our first time at the ‘new’ hotel in town. It was actually lovely. And more than running into people we love every time we were in the lobby, (though that novel experience warmed my heart beyond words) The person I spoke to on the phone about an early check in was very understanding. The lady that checked us in was great and efficient. The room was great. Clean and quite large. The food for breakfast was eh but sitting in the dining room and slowly filling up tables with family and laughter and love…. It was truly magical. Nothing really to do with the hotel but it’s all I can remember from 6 months ago. lol My siblings and I are planning a trip and will most likely stay here. It’s central and when you look out the windows you see your childhood if you were born here. It’s just near everything. The square. Starbucks and Big Creek Park are just down the way. Thank you...
