Friendship Motor Inn — Hotel in Carneys Point Township

Upon arrival the front desk clerk was fantastic with accommodating my husband and I as our a/c stopped working in our truck and we were in need of showers, a major body temp drop, and a good night sleep before we headed back on the road. I got to our room which at first just seemed out dated. Yes the rooms were extremely cheap but I do expect the floors to have been vacuumed and clean towels. I had a stomach bug all day and decided just to lay down and shower in the morning when I woke up. ||As I lay in the bed I noticed the broken glass pieces on the floor next to my side of the bed along with pieces of wire, cigarette butts, and cat food. I made my husband pull up the sheets and check for bugs of which we did not find any. I went back in the bed and became very itchy as I am allergic to cats. I tried to rest but decided to just shower instead as I became reactive. In the shower the water didn’t drain as quick as it filled so by the time I was done showering the tub was filled as if I had taken a bath. When I grabbed a towel to dry I noticed orangish stained spots on the towel (my thought was remnants of blood). At this point I grabbed my stuff, left my husband in the room, and went to our truck to sleep in the humidity. I’d rather sleep in a clean safe bed/environment than feel unrested, itchy, and carry fleas or whatever out with me. My husband has to shower and place all his stuff in secured plastic bags before I will allow him to enter this truck in the morning!!! Maybe cheap but not worth the risk of disease...

I wish I could give zero stars, my fridge door isn't attached and doesn't get cold, there are ROACHES EVERYWHERE and woke up last night with one crawling on me (in every single room, cause if one has them they ALLLLLLL DO), the shower doesn't work and the shower cutrain was so molded and falling apart we had to buy our own (which was pointless since the shower doesnt work lol, and the floor is so disgusting the bottoms of my white shoes are now black. We carpet-cleaned this room and it's still absolutely filthy, we even had to . The "free wifi" doesn't work unless you're right NEXT to the office and it took them 3 days to give us the password for said crappy wifi. Honestly, I wish there was another option and somewhere else we could go but unfortunately there's not. |These people should be absolutely ashamed of this place. It's a total shame too cause with the right TLC this place could be a gold mine. We've been here since Saturday and have been told every day that a maintenance worker has been coming and nothing. These people are dirty and this place should be shut...

I’ve been to a lot of budget hotels in my 51 years so far on this earth. But this hotel is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. Had a 6 day stay the hotel is very dirty,has roaches and gnats. The bathroom was nasty the grout was cracking and peeling from around the tub and toilet. The hot water was scalding hot and there was no cold water in the shower. Everyday I inquired about this to the staff and manager the only answers I received were the plumber would be there tomorrow for 6 days straight it was always tomorrow. On the last day of my visit I was given the same answer. I then requested a partial refund of the money I paid and the lady at the desk said she would ask the manager. Later on she said she couldn’t get ahold of the manager. Also the dresser in the room one of the drawers was broken. The linens were stained or dirty. The blanket had what looked like cigarette burns in it. Simply put I will never stay in this hotel again let alone...
