Rooms are decent, not the greatest or cleanest but manageable. Honestly $80 is a little pricey for a one night stay for the quality. But if you are respectful and keep it cool they are respectful to you . I hear there is a lot of police activity here but out of the 5 or 6 times I've stayed there I've never experienced any police activity. But I always stay to myself and don't be a bother, so there would be no reason for any police interaction. But I have heard guests get loud and argumentative & it's in a little bit of a rough neighborhood so maybe that's why the cops go there. All I know is they never messed with me & I've always had a decent stay despite their prices being a little too high. I can go to the cabrillo plaza for $65 & there rooms are better & bigger. But I would stay at dare u inn again...
Read moreWe've all known someone who has got a room here. And renting a room by the hour is an enlightened idea but not without it's drawbacks I'm sure.
Such as the people who might hang around and go up to girls trying to get some. But this place pleasantly surprised me when I mentioned to my friend about this creep just knocking on my window pretending to need a lighter. The guy behind the front desk (ear hustling) said "that's but okay" told the creep to leave now and said if we had any thing else like that happen to let them know immediately and they will take care of it.

Before back in 2005 it used to be a lot nicer. They have let it decline alot in appearance. Lately The have been trying to update the rooms. But they need major remodeling done to bring it back to its Glory days. Not a place where to have your children sleep.
