Super BAD. Guess the 3 different vehicles in the parking lot with flat tires should have been the giveaway or the surrounding slum. Came for a King Size Suite from our friend's Airbnb. Asked to see the room because of the different reviews, room we looked at briefly was clean looking, no bed bugs, and a King Bed, room 215. Book it and leave to go back and hang with friends. Arrive back later that evening for the night around 8ish. Bring our stuff in pull back the bedding and get ready to relax for the night. I use the bathroom before bed to pee and go back towards the bed laughing at how the guy who painted the bathroom wall clearly gave no craps about the bottom tile edging while getting dressed down for bed. My husband goes to check the paint job and test out the shower for tomorrow morning since we have stayed other places that have had issues with draining and you end up standing in drain water. Well, the shower here doesn't drain either, at all, but wait...Why is there water on the floor? Oh, it's coming from the hole in the caulking at the base of the toilet! Cool, he's stepping in gross toilet water! We get redressed to ask for a different room since the facilities are faulty in that one. Head to the front office reception, a different lady and tell her about the issue. She says she can move us to a room with 2 queens and that's a better room, but there are no more King Rooms available. We request a refund as we a couple and wanted the king bed, that was the sole reason we booked the room. We are told that she can't do that. Say what? "You booked the roo. Around 2pm and it's 8pm now, there wasn't a problem before." We tell her that we just got here! We only booked the room earlier and haven't been in it the use the bathroom facilities until now. If they don't have a King suite, we want a refund, we don't want 2 queens and the bathrooms before leaky isn't our fault. "We've rented that room everyday and nobody else had a problem with it." Well we can show you its leaking right now. "Oh, don't worry we are going to go check it. It's against policy to issue a refund this far into check-in." We tell her to check cameras and she can see that we just got here! We paid cash, so we couldn't just dispute it later. We just wanted a refund to find another place with a king suite. Finally she bring the first lady we had booked the room with in and we remind her that when we viewed the room, we told her that we wouldn't touch anything. They finally tell us they are going to give us someone else's reserved room that is a King suite and the other person wouldn't care about the change. Fine. It was the room right next door, room 217. Okay. Shower drains and toilet is missing all it's caulking, but it's not leaking. Go to get in bed and notice the sheet is all sorts of stained, the side of the mattress is broken like someone huge slammed their butt on it. Pull the sheet up and there is a hole in the mattress, holes all along the bottom of the mattress. Whatever, it's one night and they is zero chance that they are going to refund anything clearly. Mold in the bathroom, horrible broken bed... Then they were doing stuff in the older room. It's 11-Midnight and they are slamming repeatedly the door next door and stuff inside the room. Wake up the next morning and I am pretty sure they gave the room to someone else without fixing anything or putting a quick fix. Curtains smelled like someone credit carded them up their butt crack when trying to be sure someone wasn't screwing with our vehicle....

I'm really shocked at the reviews for here. This is not a petty angry guest review, I have been staying here my entire life and this place means so much to me. When I was a kid we stayed here for a week every summer for a reunion. Now that I'm a parent I stay there every year with my kids for a reunion. Room has always been below average but affordable. Most things are damaged at best if not completely unworking. Could be cleaner but was clean enough. Towels are tiny, rough and stained. They give you 2 and dont want to give you more than that without taking your current towels, washing them and then returning them. Its like trying to get gold trying to get enough towels to shower let alone swim. We always have to buy our own towels at walmart down the road. The pool is excellent. Could be cleaner and more updated. Lots of peeling, cheap chairs, ladders are all about to fall off. But its huge and theres a great connecting kids section. This place is very sentimental to me as well. Its where my best childhood memories with many family members gone are. Between the sentimental reasons and the great big pool we put up with the trashiness of the rooms because even if it was musty and dingy at least the toilet bath and beds were clean we just wore house shoes around. Until our last visit. Each time its been less and less clean. Last time took the cake. One of the beds was obviously not changed. Had literal dirt and grass in the bedding. It was too late to go anywhere else everything was booked up. We called the main desk and they just "oh well if you want you can come get new sheets". So i go down and they dont even respond to me when i tell them I was coming for the sheets because our bedding wasnt changed. Just went and got some and brought them to me without a word. I noticed there was only one set and asked for a second since we know they didnt change the bedding now we want fresh sheets for both. Again just wordlessly went to get them and handed them over without a word. No apology for unchanged bedding, no have a good night and event though i kept my manners and still said please and thank you didnt even get a "youre welcome". The sheets i got seemed to be clean but stained. That was the last straw for me. It pains me to my core to leave a bad review for this place and pains me even deeper to say that will have been our last visit there. That place is just so special to me and my family but we will make a new yearly tradition elsewhere- somewhere cleaner and we will pay the extra 20 a night to know we are laying on clean sheets that a stranger didnt sleep in last night and having working amentities and not having...

If I could give this hotel zero stars or negative stars..I definitely would. I got a smoking room and the guy at the front desk told me that they were not as nice as the non-smoking rooms. I took that as it would probably have a smoke smell and maybe some burns on the blankets. No this room was beyond horrible. When I asked for a refund and told him how dirty the room was he said I told you that they wasn't as nice as the non-smoking and that it was non-refundable. The room had trash in it like it had not been cleaned since last year. Along with the trash there were needles and old dirty socks. As soon as I walked in the room I immediately started itching from head to toe and couldn't quit sneezing..not sure if that was from mold or just the dirtiness. The bathtub was nothing but a big spider web from one side to the other covered in huge spiders. Every lamp shade in the room was busted the walls were disgusting. The towels were brown and the floors were so sticky that my flip flops kept almost coming off of my feet. When I lifted the blanket up there was hair and blood on the sheets. The guy at the front desk told me he could not give me my money back but he could give me a non-smoking room. I knew it was going to be bad too but I said that I would look at it and see and I tell you when I opened the door it was almost as bad as the smoking room. I went back up and told him no I would never sleep in that room either. I paid a $50 deposit which is all he was willing to give me back. And for the room I paid $95 and after arguing with him and him cussing and yelling at me for about 20 minutes he finally said he would give me $70 back plus my deposit and for me to leave or he was going to call the cops. I'll insert pictures of the...

Needed a cheap place to stay for the night on our way through. Cheap was about the only good thing. Got in at about 11pm, so we had no choice but to stay. Along with, tape being put over the latch for the door, the room was disgusting. Food (i hope) stuck to the outside of the microwave and on the table. Stains on the sheets that matched up with the stains on the mattress protector, so I'm assuming they weren't washed. In my mother's room, the comforter looked like it had been slashed with a knife twice all the way across. Wife went to front desk to ask for new sheets. She got one set. Had to ask for the pillow cases separately. Upon changing the pillow cases the pillow was covered in blood stains. The new sheets were worn almost all the way through. Mystery substances on the walls. Sticky floors. And stains, just, everywhere. If all you're looking for is a roof and a bed this will fit your needs. If you're looking for any amount of cleanliness this isn't it. Edit march 26 We left this morning early, and my son started to develop bite marks this afternoon. About 2 dozen so far. Hopefully we didn't bring any bugs home on our stuff.
