Star Motel — Hotel in Cave City

Actually staying a few days here now, we are in a great room they have remodeled very modern tile floor in bedroom and bathroom freshly painted I've been here four days still new paint smell, I don't have any complaints but if I had to have a opinion the only thing would be is , if renters are in bad situations and if it's taking them past 11a which is checkout, if that person is showing they are making a effort to get the payment to the office, just for them to be just a little understanding of it takes a couple hours past 11a to bring the payment in, now don't get me wrong if not staying again, then yes I don't blame them checkout is at 11a so be out, but for some like us if we are planning to stay another night and having a little bit of a hard time and may be past 11a, if they could be okay with that that would be perfect, other than that this place is great and they are working hard to remodel rooms this...

I stayed there a year ago, August 2014. The owners are really nice. They are working on the place, and in the mean time giving people a cheap place to stay. I asked to be put as close to them as possible, for the extra security, as I was a girl traveling alone. They put me in the first room right by the office and I appreciated that. I had no problems. Since I was traveling on an insanely tight budget and couldn't afford the hotels up the road, I was so grateful to find this place. The rooms are dated and in need of work, but they're perfect if you just need to lay your head down for a couple hours. WiFi was fine for me, it was probably your device, or you weren't close enough...

My brother got stranded in kentucky with no car money or id i was trying to help him from iowa and knew nothing about kentucky. Not in only did the owners let him stay but they helped me find places that wld deliver food to him and helped me get him to the greyhound bus station the next day which was 45 min away. Cannot believe all they went thru to help me to help my brother. Definately unforgettable!! amazing owners and staff! Such a help and a blessing. Especually Crystal at...
