Church Street Chicken & BBQ — Restaurant in Cave City

I was actually pretty disappointed. I'm giving it 3 star since I went 45 min before close and I don't think the meat was as fresh at that point, so maybe it's better during the day? Green beans and Mac and cheese were fantastic! Pulled pork was very wet if you like that style, but a little underwhelming. It was good, but I was expecting higher standards of "southern comfort". The chicken looked amazing, but it wasn't very warm and the sadest part of the meal. Raising Cane's is way better. My husband got the ribs which were good and falling off the bone like they should, but way too much fat for ribs. I was only able to eat a few small bites of good meat around the fat. Considering it's part of a gas station, I shouldn't have expected much, but in the title it says "chicken and bbq" so those should be the best parts but...

I was supposed to have a free chicken sandwich. The kiosk wasn't working. I said is the kiosk not working? The lady behind the counter said no. It looked like it hasn't worked for a long time. So then I decided to get a chicken sandwich combo. The lady who waited on me holds up 2 pieces of bread and says I don't have any buns do you want it on bread. Chicken is okay but definitely not worth the price and not an ideal place when looking for something to eat later in the evening. Always out of several main items and what is left has been sitting out for some time. Couldn't find out any information about the company online, not sure if it's a franchise or privately owned. Would love to get some feedback...
