My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The location was close to a lot of shopping, food options, which was nice. When we arrived we were immediately not thrilled about having chosen to stay here. The room either hadn’t been used for a while and/or wasn’t cleaned very well. It was dusty, the floor felt really gross so we kept socks and shoes on as much as possible, and there was urine left around the toilet that no one seemed to attempt to clean. The pillows are half the size of a normal pillow and very flat. The mattress felt very cheap as well. We kept our do not disturb sign on the door, but housekeeping still knocked and tried to come in our first morning there. The secondary entry that you’re supposed to be able to use after hours did not work at several points during the day, but when we came back at 10:00 at night it still wouldn't read our cards but we didn’t need them because it was unlocked. We had to go get new key cards as well because they stopped working. Finally there was a lot of running on the floor above us from 2:45-3:30 in the morning- though we know that’s no fault of the hotel. We didn’t try the breakfast or the pool, so we can’t attest to how those were. The rate was cheap but now we know why. We will not...
Read moreI’ve stayed at the country inn and suites at least 20 times across several locations and I’ve never been more disappointed. We booked a king suite for our family of 4. We always love the suites at country inn because it allows us to put our young kids to sleep early in one room, and still enjoy the night in the other room. When we arrived and checked in, we discovered our suite is just a bigger single room? When we looked for a two room option, the woman at the desk said “You mean a suite?” I double checked my reservation which indeed had the word suite on it (I’d also confirmed with the woman on TJ phone who I booked it with this was a suite). There were no two bedroom options available that night, so we settled on a smaller room nearer the party room we’d booked so that our baby monitor would still work from the event space, and the informed us it’d be the same price enough smaller because we’d already paid. After going to bed, we discovered numerous bed bugs in our bed. They promptly moved us to a 3rd room where we tried to finish out the night. 3 rooms and little sleep later, our stay was awful. The staff was kind, but the quality of what we’ve come to know of country inn and suites standard...
Read moreThis hotel was great. We stayed in town for a wedding and was very happy with my stay. Two things stood out to me a lot from our visit. The first was the worker who helped us so much at breakfast. Her name was Dixie and she did so much for us. We arrived with a few minutes left to eat breakfast, but Dixie didn't mind. She kept everything open and even turned the waffle maker back on for a member of our group. She was very polite and friendly and was great to talk to.
The second part that stood out to me, was when the Country Inn and Suites called me back after my stay. One of the people in the group we shared a room with left a pair of shoes at the hotel. When I returned to the hotel to pick them up, I planned on waiting in line behind two other hotel guests who were both being helped. At this time, one of the managers (I believe Amanda was her name), asked if I was there for the shoes. She had someone run them out to me, and I was on my way.
It seems to me this hotel is a well-oiled establishment and I will be back again when I come back to...
